I had a follow-up with my midwives today. NST looked good and I had my membranes stripped. Assuming baby holds out, they'll be inducing me on Wednesday evening. (Well, Cook's Catheter-ing me on Wednesday evening, Thursday morning induction.)

At the hospital. I'm at 7.5 right now. They're trying to see if they can get her to move down a little more before they break my water to get things moving. (I have a lot of fluid so there's some concern about a prolapsed cord if baby's head isn't there to block it.)

Also, I want to hug whoever invented epidurals. I mean seriously. I spent the first four hours at the hospital thinking I was dying. Drugs are magic.

My water finally broke at 6 am and had merconium in it. I'm kind of bummed because it means we can't delay clamping, but if that's the biggest issue we have today, we're way ahead of the curve!

Progress slowed way down, so they put in an internal monitor to check the strength of my contractions, and started me on pitocin at about 9:30. I'm starting to feel the pressure of the contractions now and hoping this means baby girl is getting ready to move into the real world!
