1. How far along are you this week? 14w 1d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We told the rest of our families this weekend. Everyone was SO excited! It was fun.
3. Best piece of pregnancy advice that has been given to you? Hmm, not sure yet.
4. Name a movie you love. Name one you don't like. Love- Jurassic Park, Nightmare Before Christmas Hate- The Exorcist (creeps me out!)
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We registered at BRU and Target this weekend. It was fun, but a little overwhelming. I also finished cleaning out what I can in the nursery, so now it's just up to H to move the last few things and paint, then we can start decorating!
3. Best piece of pregnancy advice that has been given to you? Relax, every pregnancy is different. It's helped me so I'm not constantly comparing my symptoms and milestones with other people.
4. Name a movie you love. Name one you don't like. I love Breakfast Club. I don't like anything sci-fi.

1. How far along are you this week? 24 weeks tomorrow 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I survived our trip to Barcelona...the flight home was tough because my calves, feet and toes swelled...boo! But, DH and I registered at BRU this weekend, and I also bought my first pair of maternity jeans...quite awesome actually, I'm excited to wear them when it's not 90 degrees around here anymore. 3. Best piece of pregnancy advice that has been given to you? Um, I really cant think of anything. The voices of my mom and DH telling me to take it easy resound in my mind. I'm a mover and shaker so it's hard for me to slow down. 4. Name a movie you love. Name one you don't like. Love Father of the Bride. Hate- stupid humor or sci-fi movies.

1. How far along are you this week? 12 weeks, almost second trimester!
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I'm feeling good, which makes me very happy. I wish I was sleeping better, but I'll live. Vacation next week (Vegas baby, although not as fun as a pregnant lady!). I should know in about a week the sex of the baby and the waiting is killing me! 3. Best piece of pregnancy advice that has been given to you? My BFF told me at lunch Friday when I was complaining about my pants "get the pants, you will love the pants and will want to wear them forever", I tried some on yesterday and she's right, how does one go back to regular pants after the comfiness of maternity pants? I haven't received much more pregnancy advice because only like 10 people know I'm pregnant.
4. Name a movie you love. Name one you don't like. This one is hard! I love Grease, Dirty Dancing, Mamma Mia, Rock of Ages - any good cheesy romantic comedy. Two movies that instantly come to mind that I thought were so terrible are Dr T and the Women with Richard Gere and Spanglish with Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni. Terrible movies.
I had my second ultrasound today, so I'm starting to get somewhat comfortable coming over here. The anxious and superstitious side of me is telling me to keep to myself!
1. How far along are you this week? measuring at 7w2d
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Ultrasound today - baby measuring well and had a heartbeat of 126. I'm officially discharged from by RE. That really scares me that I won't be under their protective wings!
3. Best piece of pregnancy advice that has been given to you? That some of the unsolicited advice is actually useful, so just smile and nod and let them talk.
4. Name a movie you love. Name one you don't like. I love In America. I hate anything that is a horror movie or has to do with hurting children. Even Matilda was hard for me to watch!
1. How far along are you this week? 3o weeks tomorrow!
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I've started to have an issue with sore/swollen labias because this kid is laying low in my stomach and I went swimming with a friend today and the water instantly made me feel so much better! I'm pretty sure I want to live in a pool for the next tenish weeks.
3. Best piece of pregnancy advice that has been given to you? Don't eschew a nap/rest when you really need one
4. Name a movie you love. Name one you don't like. I love all of the Back to the Future movies and pretty much hate any new "horror" movie that's released in the last ten years with only a few exceptions.
We also told my SIL this week that I'm pregnant and she couldn't have reacted worse if she tried. She is a miserable person and I could hear her end of the conversation with my husband, she faked a congratulations and then quickly changed the subject. My husband couldn't wait to get off the phone. What a shrew, she just ensured she will pretty much have no involvement in this sweet baby's life. How can a sweet baby not be a good thing in this case?
I could be way off base, but is it possible that she's struggling to get pregnant? We had trouble TTC and both times my SIL announced that she was pregnant, we were trying and it was hard to be genuinely happy. I said congratulations and pretended to be excited, but I was sad for myself and H. I adore my nephews, but pregnancy announcements are tough when you are having trouble TTC.

4. Name a movie you love. Name one you don't like. So, I'm weird my favorite movie is The Hunt for Red October. Also, I do not like the movie Willow.
I guess, that just like everything in life, it's a good thing they make a lot of different types of movies huh? I LOVE Willow - 2 of my cats were named Elora (after the baby princess) and Willow - and I HATED The Hunt for Red October! LOL
2. I've honestly had a terrbile 24 hours and I want to just erase it from memory. First, I was visiting my mom this weekend and we came home yesterday to find her dog had passed away while we were out, just died in his sleep in the living room. It was HORRIBLE. Then my H calls me to tell me our beloved cat can't stand on his back right paw, it's totally paralyzed. He had to take him to the vet ER and was up super late after already being exhausted and sick, and I couldn't get there to help him. He's going to be Ok we think, he's got a small blood clot in that leg that should resolve in a few days to a week. Then I go to get on the plane this morning and we're about take off and the pilot comes on to tell us there's a mechanical problem and we're going back to the gate. I burst into tears. The baby was a little active last night, I think, I think s/he was unhappy that my BP was high, but I felt a little rumbling movement in the area.
3. Everyone's pregnancy is different. Don't compare the size of your bump, or your morning sickness levels, or movement, etc to anyone else. It will only drive you crazy.
4. I love and always have loved Good Will Hunting. I do not like any horror movie nor did I like The Princess Bride but that's mostly because any time anyone hears I didn't OMG LOVE IT I get shit about it. It's mildly funny, that's all.

No, she's not. I would completely understand if that was the case, I know how I felt when I was trying and my sister announced she was pregnant. She is just a miserable person that likes everyone else to be miserable with her (she is never married, no boyfriend, I know she's not trying to get pregnant). She didn't even pretend to be happy for us.

Well that's crappy then I'm sorry. It's easier said than done, but don't let her misery bring you down. Hopefully she comes around eventually, it's hard not to fall in love with a little baby!
1. How far along are you this week? 36 weeks 4 days 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? AW: This morning I bought ALL THE THINGS. lol. Aka I used my amazon completion discount and cleaned up shop. Vent: Found out my insurance is considered a "grandfathered" plan, and as such, does not have to provide a breast pump, nor do they have any coverage whatsoever toward one. BOO. I mean, the hospital coverage is excellent, so it's nbd in the long run, but I wasn't expecting that expense. Random: I think I'm sort of in denial about the fact that labor is imminent... 3. Best piece of pregnancy advice that has been given to you? I actually can't think of anything pg-related that people have told me. Plenty of L&D/parenting advice, most of which was unsolicited and unwanted, lol 4. Name a movie you love. Name one you don't like. Just the firsts that come to mind, not necessarily all-time best/worst-- Love: The Usual Suspects, Hate: Anchorman and any other Will Ferell movies (with the exception of Stranger than Fiction, when he wasn't playing his typical shtick).

2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? had our u/s today--1 baby in there!! HB was (I think) 170. I'm being released from my RE! I really like my RE and his office but I also love my OB and her office... I'm feeling all over the place! Also, we told my family at dinner last night. My sisters and mom all cried.

1. 13 weeks + 2 days 2. The results of our cell free DNA test, including the gender are sitting in my email but I can't open until my husband gets home in 2 hours! Going crazy! 3. Best advice: take it one day at a time. When in doubt, don't eat it. Also, follow your gut, you don't have to listen to anyone else's advice. I tend to get a lot of unsolicited advice! 4. I love the movie Singles. I don't like adventure movies in general. Lord of the Rings was the worst! All that walking in the cold with giant bare feet!

1. 9w. 2. I'm so over the tired. And the bloat. 3. "Remember that today, you are pregnant." In order to worry less. 4. Sound of Music. Big Lebowski.
