I haven't bought a new game in about a year and a half (since Bioshock Infinite came out) and would like to find something new to dig into. Since I won't pick up the new system for awhile, it needs to be a 360 game.
I typically go for action RPG's and adventure and puzzle. Series I already have and love: Fable Mass Effect Fallout Gears of War Bioshock Portal Half-life Braid (not a series but it is so good!)

BORDERLANDS. The first is ok, the second is way better. Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. I haven't played Origins. I love all the Lego games, the Harry Potter ones are my favorite. I just finished the Lego Movie one.
lol! I have both Borderlands and both Batman games as well. I don't have Origins and I've heard the lego games are awesome, I'll look into those.
Haha, do you like that I put Borderlands in all caps?
If you play the Lego games, I suggest playing them in order of release. There is a HUGE difference between the first (Star Wars) and most recent (Lego Movie.)
Star Wars: The Complete Saga Batman Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures Harry Potter: Years 1-4 Harry Potter: Years 5-7 Pirates of the Caribbean Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Lord of the Rings Marvel Superheroes The Hobbit Lego Movie

Dishonored! It's first person, can be played as stealth or shooter, but stealth especially makes it a puzzle game. I'm working through HL2 ep 2 and then I'm going to play the two narrative-based Dishonored DLC.
You'veplayed Bioshock, what what about Bioshock 2 and its DLC, Minerva's Den? And the Infinite DLC?

You had me at mass effect <3 I personally love bioware games. I find myself searching for games that give me that emotional connection. So my game suggestions will be based on game play and also the ability to have your decisions effect the course of certain came developments.
Very excited for this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmsCJeh4YFg the 'new' mass effect game. Hoping they don't botch the ending like I felt with the ME3.
One other game I love is Dragon Age. It's similar to Mass effect in terms of the way they do relationships. Love it and that you get to play multiple games and build as each game comes out. They are due to release the final one I believe at the end of this year. It isn't a first person shooter though but again is pretty awesome. Not to give away things but in the first game I was trying to woo two people. Had an outtake where one of the characters was disappointed in me and made me choose. First time I ever felt bad in a game before lol!
Jade Empire is another RPG with a decent story line and connection to your teammates.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings - Great graphics and storyline!
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - this was a great game and I wish that Bioware had continued it's sequel instead of another company taking it. Although the online RPG is a lot of fun and free. (something to check out)
Guild wars 2: I haven't played this in a while but the graphics are killer and gameplay great. It's got an extensive Online RPG following where your decisions and others affect the world.
Fable 3: Something I play when there's nothing else to choose from.
I'm trying so hard to find a game with the action but also side quests with your team.

Portal 2?
Omg, THANK YOU. I forgot all about the bioshock infinite DLC! I have played all three bioshocks, but not Minerva's Den. Any good?
I have played and loved Portal 2 many times. Space!!

The storyline of Minerva's Den was really good-- I think the gameplay mechanics were basically the same as the rest of Bioshock 2.
I've only played episode 1 of Burial at Sea, but it was fun! There's a lot of time at the beginning not fighting, which I loved because I like to wander around and look at things and eavesdrop. And it's so pretty! I'm planning on playing episode 2 after I do the Dishonored DLC.
I wasn't sure if I'd like Portal 2, but OMGSOFUN. My husband and I played the co-op mode when my DD was a newborn and it is pretty much the only good memory of those early days :-)
I might play Red Dead Redemption after Burial Sea ep 2, but I can't recommend it yet, since I haven't played it. I started playing Deus Ex:Human Revolution, which was really fun except that we have the original release that doesn't have the revamped boss fights and I got stuck on the first boss and lost interest (the original used a different studio for boss fights and the result that was if you played stealth, your skills didn't translate to boss fights).
I bought and played Burial at Sea 1 and 2. SO GOOD and like most of Bioshock, the storyline was so sad. And made you think. It was fun to play as Elizabeth and see the different versions of themselves work with and against the plot. And of course, being back in Rapture was so fun. It added to the original story SO well.
