Does he have facial hair? Skinny/cropped pants? Eclectic taste in music? Then there's no avoiding it!
If facial hair is a requirement, it's pretty tough for many Asian peeps to be hipsters.
In any event, there's got to be more to being a hipster than just this.
This is practically everybody. LOL.
My definition of hipster is someone who makes CERTAIN 1. to look like children did crafts to make their clothing 2. like their haircuts will be MUCH better after they sharpen the kitchen scissors for next time 3. like high schoolers did engineering expo projects to make their cars 4. and that no one has ever heard of any song they'd be caught dead mentioning in public.

apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
He says he hasn't yet. I think he got them in June or July? His wife says he doesn't smell; I'm not sure if I believe her. Apparently this is a thing, not him being lazy (like I originally suspected).
Um, clothing should be designed to be washed at some point. This isn't hipster, it's just gross.

hisno1girl would have a stroke if anyone she knew did this. I'm pretty sure she doesn't even use a bath towel more than once before washing it.
You are right on both accounts.
YOUR ASSHOLE SWEATS, YOU DIRTY HIPSTER and you don't remedy that situation by putting your ass sweat jeans next to the pork roast you're having for dinner the next day!
H and brother drink it and they are far from hipster. It was even my 93 year old Grandma's beer of choice when she was alive and I'm pretty sure she had never even heard the word hipster.
We used to listen to old time radio shows on cassette when we were kids (Green Hornet, Baby Snooks and Daddy, etc.) and they often had the old commercials included.
As a result, I know this old Pabst Blue Ribbon jingle.

I feel like in LA, is's super common to be "hipster" all the way to late 30s. At least, it's common in the dating scene. LOL.
And by that I mean - they're still baristas and have 3 roommates. Not just that they dress in flannel with black frame glasses but have good jobs. LOL.
Maybe there is a correlation between the 30+ hipsters and their single status.
Pabst is considered hipster? Around here it's cheap "country" beer. It is the beer that is a dollar a can and highly publicized at all of the local bars that are in the more middle of cornfields, never ID, have tractors parked outside, basically have a camo dresscode, etc. No redneck judging here as I clearly frequent these bars.

Pretty much the same here! Hipsters are few and far between around here...or worse yet, they're hipster wannabes!
If we're looking for the original hipster, put my grandpa in the running...he would have been 101 this year, and PBR was his favorite. However, he was a farmer. Hmm...forget Urban Homesteader, he was a Rural Homesteader! Haha
