Dragon Con was amazing (costume pics!)

I competed in the costume contest at Dragon Con and won "Best Makeup"!  Holy crap!  The contest itself was crazy and the con was awesome too.  It was really fun because I was constantly getting stopped by people and they would compliment my costume and then look closer and say "Oh my God it moves!"  Check out the video to see it (look at the flowers on the front of the armor)   I haven't said a word about the shoulders because up until 2 weeks ago I wasn't sure I was going to actually get it done, but now that I've succeeded I am telling eeeverybody

Thanks! The video is really short so yes please watch it when you get a chance I didn't keep track of the hours spent on it but it is definitely hundreds of hours. Been working on it all year and probably at least 20 hours a week all summer.

The contest was INSANE. someone's costume caught fire during judging and the guy next to me fell off stage during the awards ceremony.

That is awesome, my rl friend took best in show this year at dragoncon for Wow. She was the human pally in cataclysmic glad. I haven't seen her pics yet, but her bf was calling and texting everyone.
I was sad we couldn't go this year, but we are hoping for next year.

Oh cool!  I REALLY wanted to be in both contests but the judging times overlapped and I committed to the other one first  I saw photos of the contests but didn't see who won, that's awesome!

  Hey i play a Tauren!! I thinking of dressing up as him for halloween, but being in Fl be to dang hot.  I really love your shoulders, We should all trade real id sometime and run something.

Haha yeah I am no horde-hater but I was kinda sweaty in that as is, no way could you add fur to it.  Well unless you added some fans or something.  I'm glad you like the shoulders!  It was my first time making armor so I'm just glad they stayed on my shoulder without falling off.

We can totally run something together but my gear is awful, I pretty much leveled to 90 and just stopped there.

  Hit the timeless isle, you be geared in a few hours. I been slacking on my toons since tomorrow my son turns 5! We boosted my mage, but I lvled my shammy, right now I been working on a pally tauren tank, I would be 90 but I have been spending a ton of time on planning a dual birthday party for both of my littles.

  I use to be Aliance have a ton of 80-83 on my old server, we switch with some rl friends and now have 90 shammy, mage and 68 pally.
