It really helped me get out of the house. DD didn't love it as much at home but I could put her in that in the grocery store or Target and buy myself almost an HOUR of time to shop. It was great. She wouldn't sleep in it but she was quiet and would just look around. 

It really will make things just a little easier, because you can do stuff that you need to get done, and it gets things moving up and down instead of just sitting there.  I would feed D and then DH would wear him to do the dishes or clean or work, and it really helped D to kind of process everything (and it would allow us to get some stuff done). 

Oooh, I forgot that DH wore her a lot. A LOT. He would put her in the K'Tan, then then Beco when she got bigger, and take the dog on a walk for a good hour on the weekends or on a weekday if it wasn't too late. Being able to be home and just relax for an hour while he was gone with her was huge for me.
