Yay! I am so happy, Cori! Are you going to find out if it is a boy or girl?
Oh god yeah, lol! I am not patient at all. I'm going to wait until the anatomy scan though instead of going to an elective place so we've got to wait until about mid-November.
I have no feelings whatsoever on what it is (the last one I felt strongly that it was a boy, though we didn't want to know after the fact so I never found out if I was right). However everyone I have spoken to outside of H and me has said they feel like I'm having a girl. Like people have very weirdly and forcefully insisted that this is a girl child based on nothing except they just "know." I would say 5 or 6 people so far including the kooky hairdresser who predicted my pregnancy the day before I found out. So we'll see if they're crazy or not!
I think my OB forgot about the NT scan. We did the world's fastest ultrasound ever last time (10w) just to confirm a heartbeat (and she didn't measure it or anything, just verified it was there) and then my next appointment is four weeks later with no ultrasound. Boo.

Not everyone does them. My RE gave me the choice if I wanted it and honestly I wouldn't have except I wanted another ultrasound with her. I'd call and ask them about it. Like pp said you have until 13 weeks.

Right we actually declined it in my first pregnancy but this time around I wanted to know that someone was taking a good hard look at this baby to see if things looked like they were developing as they were supposed to. (I know that's not the main intent of the test but with our history I wanted another checkpoint.)
I know they push it harder for mothers over 35. I wonder if you're under 30 if some don't bring it up at all.
I am 32. She may have been comfortable with my RE's basic measurements at my almost-nine-week ultrasound and decided that was enough. I am fine with that, I just love any excuse to see the baby!
I'm just getting caught up over here, but I know exactly what you mean with the cramps that feel like gas. I had them pretty bad in the beginning and it was pretty frightening. I also got light headed and nearly passed out a few times well into the second tri.

My OB made me go to the MFM for the NT scan. Maybe she just forgot to tell you? I would call and ask about it if you are interested.
