We met on eHarmony. I had been on for about nine months and my membership was almost up. We were matched a few days before my membership, so I said "well, I guess he'll be the last person I meet from this website" Little did I know that I was going to meet my husband.
Luis and I met at a manager training for McDonald's. But I thought he was an ass. A year later he was transferred to my store, but he worked 3rd shift, and I worked 8A-6P; My school schedule changed, so then our shifts started overlapping. I gave him my number and we have been together ever since. Poor bastard.
I met my hubby through a dating service. Yes, an actual dating service where I went in and met with someone who then set me up on dates. This was before it was popular/cool to meet people online through match.com and eharmony. It was pretty "uncool" to tell people that I was using a dating service! However it worked out quite well for me. He was the third date I went on and we have been together for 12 years, married for 8 of them and are now expecting our first baby. Best money I ever spent!
I met my H my freshman year of college. Everyone kept telling me that a guy named Jason Meier liked me (haha @ liked - we were 18) but I thought "Jason Meier" was one of his baseball teammates. I kept saying "eww, no, does that guy even shower". Finally after the first party of the year I figured out who the real Jason Meier was and was interested.
We made out after the MTV music awards on 9-9-99 and we have been together ever since. That's romance.
I met my husband at work. We worked together for almost a year before we went out in a small group and got to know each other better and then we started dating. We've been together for 18 years this September, married for 12!

We met at church on 7/1/01. I had only lived here for a couple weeks and was checking out differnet churches in the area. We hung out on 4th of July and then started hanging out pretty regularly. We started dating on 8/1/01 and have been together ever since.

We met on AOL, in a Tampa chat room. I went on frequently, not necessarily to meet someone, but to meet new people. He I'M'd me, starting talking, found out we worked at the same company (out of different offices) and 2 weeks later we met in person and have been together ever since. That was almost 12 years ago.
Work. He trained me. I thought he was OK but if someone would have told me we would wind up married I would have spit my drink out laughing. It was a couple of years of working together and becoming friends before we were both single, and then after working a crazy Valentines Day night (infamously busy where I work) we went out and had a few drinks and the rest is history. On the 25 we really talked and decided we were official, it wasn't just a thing. So our "anniversary" is Feb 25 but our "first" anniversary is valentines day. Wink wink. We've always celebrated it by working and having a Jagerbomb after, except for this year because now we are responsible parents!

Work. I had a 2nd job as a hostess and he was a bartender. We were both in other longterm relationships, but there was just something between us. I thought it was so silly I had a "pretend crush" on this younger coworker, but I made sure to dress super cute whenever I knew he'd be there and had even told my mom about him. He always found a million reasons to come talk to me while we were working. After over a year of completely harmless flirtation, we found ourselves newly single at the company Christmas party and we confessed what we'd been feeling all that time. After finally leaving a terrible relationship, I really just expected it to be fun, rebound relationship. He had totally different intentions, luckily, and it's been 10 1/2 years since.

My mom introduced me to him. They worked 2 desks apart. I just got out of a bad relationship and was home taking classes @ HCC for the summer since it was cheaper to live at home and take pre recs @ the CC.
He never asked me on a formal date, just kinda told me to meet him @ Olive Garden one night when I wasn't called in to work @ the mall.

We met our freshman year of college when my sorority and his fraternity celebrated homecoming week together. We danced at a party, WITH my best friend (like a weird triple dance.. she had a boyfriend, so it wasn't a hoochie 3 way dance, more like a funny one) and then he and I became friends. He was interested in dating me, I was not. We stayed friends/aquaintances for several months.
It wasn't until I had dated several jerks that I finally decided to start looking for a "nice guy". I was eating at the dining hall and my friend spilled her soda all over me. H, who happened to be eating there at the same time with his friends, ran over from across the room with paper towels to help me clean it up. I decided he was the "nice guy" I was looking for. I told him he should call me sometime, he said "I don't have your number", and I said "You should get it" and walked away. I'm not sure who I thought I was with that bitchy line, but it worked. We've been together 12 years now, married for 4.5.
