The file cabinet we bought was lovely. Except it's missing the instructions and hardware. Looks like I got a lemon. I'm just glad I didn't pay too much for it.

I put A in his crib for the first time. This can go one of two ways. 1- we both sleep better in our own beds or 2- he ends up back in my bed in an hour.
Also, I borrowed a video monitor from a friend. It's so creepy!! I keep looking at it expecting to see something scary like Paranormal Activity scary. I also keep starring at it to make sure he's still breathing. Hmmm maybe I'm not ready for this!
It is really hot here, what is up? Our apartment rental doesn't have ac or ceiling fans, the humidity and heat is killing me lol. Ada also isn't sleeping good because of it.

I'm googling, "my child can't sit still". Between the damn bus, his "couch gymnastics" and now I can hear him doing something up in bed.....I'm just so confused/curious as to why he seems to have ants in his pants so often. And I wonder why I'm do tired every night, child has e.n.e.r.g.y.

In the local birth announcements there is an Axel with a sibling named Alex. I feel like that's going to get very confusing. Maybe they just wanted to reuse the wooden letters on the nursery wall?
I bought six pairs of shoes/boots tonight for $65!!! I was killing time before meeting a friend for dinner and saw a Bakers shoe store. I thought they went out of business like ten years ago, so I popped in to check it out. They were having a 70% off lowest price on everything, and apparently my 9.5 are leagues larger than that neighborhood's norm because my size was available in everything!
Two tall boots for $16 each, three pairs of $7 sandals and ballet flats, and some ankle boots that were a splurge at $18.
I also bought a $10 dress and some fun necklaces. TrudyCampbell, Jackson Heights is seriously my favorite neighborhood in the city!
All of the peanut butter talk made me crave it so much. After Gus went to sleep H went out and got me peanut butter m&ms. Soooo good, but I'm eating so many my stomach hurts. Time to roll myself of the couch and hide the package in the freezer.

My DS1 has his sports day at school today. We are currently on lunch break. It's been hilarious so far, watching 5 year olds do the hurdles, throw bean bags at targets, and run the 300m. Sprints are after lunch.
It is so funny to see them. We are not athletically gifted in our family.
Also, the head gym teacher is HOT. As in, *fan self* hot. PHEW!!

I'd like photo evidence of said hotness! Just like the photo of your hot neighbor!
My kid was dancing like this tonight. Not okay, kid!
Hahaha, she is adorable! I feel your pain - A likes to dance by shoving out his pelvis.
Why do they think this type of dancing is okay? I was laughing hysterically while I took the photos, but it was because I was in shock that she was dancing like that! To top it off, she was ON A STAGE! I hope that was the first and last time she danced like that on a stage! Haha!

33 hours until the move. My head is absolutely swimming with all the shit I need to do. I packed 99% of the toys and cleaned out the fireplace, and now I am totally spent.
H and I are watching Doomsday Preppers on Netflix. These people are frigging nuts. I'm not against being prepared for extreme circumstances, but these people have taken it to a level that is just a tad over the top.

I have to explore more! They have such good food.
I *may* have consumed a consumed a Colombian guava and cheese pastry, a Chinese steamed bun, a taco truck taco, and a cup of fresh passion fruit juice on my walk to dinner (Peruvian tapas). Luckily I didn't even hit the Indian/Pakistani area, or there would've been some samosas on that list.
Why am I sooo hungry all the time? I'm going to gain 70 pounds this pregnancy. I was never hungry with C.
My girls entertained each other for 30 minutes while I made dinner. OMG. It was amazing.
It is too damn hot. I hope we can go to the beach tomorrow.
Thyroid appointment went well, but he said I'll need another biopsy in a few months. I don't wanna. It hurts beyond belief.
I'm sorry you have to have more biopsies but it's good to make sure everything is okay. I had several before my surgery and man those suckers hurt, I'm sorry you have to go through that. I hope everything comes back good!

Thank you! Did you have yours taken taken out?
I did. A biopsy when we were pregnant with April babies came back positive for thyroid cancer. The surgery wasn't too bad, just a little complicated due to a previous thyroid treatment. Recovery was good. Are you hypo? I had/have Graves' disease which caused hyperthyroid. It's been much easier now that it's gone to keep my levels in range.
