Omg that is so scary I'm so sorry glad he is ok. X had another seizure this weekend, they are so scary. Hugs xox
Oh no I am SO sorry skies. I've missed some of the back story. What's going on?
Sorry, I didn't want to make it about me. I just wanted to say that I totally understand how scary they are and offer hugs. As a mother you feel so helpless watching it happen to your child.
X gets them from vaso-vagal reactions. When he hits his head and gets scared he does the silent cry. Holding his breath causes a drop in blood pressure and lack of oxygen to the brain. He passes out and seizes. The pedi said most kids will just pass out but the rare few will seize. He had an EEG last week and we are waiting to see a neurologist.

Ok my pregnancy brain is remembering this now. You are so right...it's a very helpless feeling! Just awful. Do you have to take him to the ER when it happens or just monitor him at home? We've gotten conflicting advice over what to do if/when he has another.
I remember my sister was a breath holder. She would get so mad in tantrums she would hold her breath and then pass out. My poor mom.
