Was anyone around during the last mass Nest exodus

Does anyone remember the Nest Refuge? This is probably from back in 2006 or so. I can't even remember what caused the exodus, but I do remember that so many people left to the new board that I stopped even checking the Nest. Eventually, though, everyone moved back to the Nest and I assume the board died.

I think it was a yahoo board, but I'm not certain. I also don't know if as many people were active on it, but it was definitely a large enough group that it was entertaining.

Anyone remember this? If so, what was the reason for the board creation?

There was an activeboard called Modern Bliss and there was another but you had to make at least one post a week or you got kicked off so if you went on vacation or something you had to rejoin with the mods. But yeah, I don't remember why it all spun off.

It only took them four days, lol. I checked yesterday I think and it was still up, which surprised me.
