Nope, never mind. Not "might". Is canceled. From my end because corporate doesn't want to take the risk that it'll be canceled because there's this whole fiscal year budget thing involved in approving the training in the first place. (so reimbursing me for the class in this fiscal year and then taking the refund from me back to them next fiscal year is a no-go)
SON OF A WHORE.
pixy0stix it's just not meant to be. I guess. Fuck man.
How are you gonna get your training?
Kind of in line with this, I have a goal of taking computer validation courses this year. Because I've done quite a bit of it but have no actual training in the area. Guess who has two thumbs and can't get any classes approved?
beats the shit out of me. Read the manual repeatedly and hope for the best. Have I mentioned this is the same ricockulous German software that was giving me fits last week?

AGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH.
And it's 2pm. I've not had lunch. I have a 4pm meeting. And this dude just asked me for a gazillion damn copies of shit because his azz can't get decent ass fucking glasses so he can read shit on the computer.

Boo hiss. Just got back from the doctor and have to do the same testing all over again. The only downside is one of the tests is about four hours in a machine that comes thisclose to your chest. I hated it, as I'm claustrophobic. I've done it sans Ativan twice, and decided I'm not putting myself through the torture again. The rest is just normal lab work.
Lest there was a mistake in my lab from July and/or the corroborating numbers that show there's an adenoma are off, surgery it is Here's hoping the numbers in July were a mistake. Not likely, but a girl can dream.
We're going to visit a friend later who's recuperating from a serious accident and I'm trying to think if something to bring. Alcoholic beverages are out because they won't mix well with painkillers. I won't have time to bake something because we're going right after work today. Any ideas?
Can you just take dinner?
Snacks?
Swing by Target and grab some fun TV shows or movies on DVD?

Make a bag of sunshine with all yellow things: candy, gum , EOS yellow one, lays potato chips etc. Put it in a yellow bag and write a sunny message.

Are they going to be laid up for a while? Here's what I loved when I was recouping from surgery and was spending QT on the couch: - A fuzzy blanket - Itunes/Amazon gift cards (for streaming movies/buying books for my kindle) - Fuzzy socks
Also, people sent food to my house once I got home, and that was amazing. No having to worry about dinner for a few nights was fantastic.

He had an accident while splitting wood this weekend and lost some fingers. Luckily he doesn't have worry about cooking because he lives with his girlfriend who does the cooking, but I think I'll have H ask if there are any DVDs that he wants. Something to keep him entertained that doesn't require two good hands.

JUSTIFIED! My boss poked gentle fun at me this morning because I walked in carrying my rain boots. Well guess what it's doing outside right now? RAINING! HA boss!
I won a gift certificate to amazon and I'm determined to spend it on moi. They're currently have a 20% off sale on some shoes which means that combined with the gc I could get the frye paige boots I've been lusting over for 4 years for $250. Which is a really good deal. But it's still $250.
I spent the weekend with secretlyevil, she's fabulous, AND we got big shiny race medals.
Did you guys post a recap somewhere, other than your controversial race sign? Do you glow in the dark now?
recap: We had a fabulous weekend. Even my brilliant yet socially weird H loved emilyj and her H. That's high praise.
As for the race, emilyj did fabulous, her H road really well. Me...i don't want to talk about it. I'd like to do the relay again now that I know how to navigate an Ironman.

WTFever, I bet you did fabulously because you're such a fabulous person.
A black lady drew my blood today complimented me on my hair. She said "we chocolate girls are always jealous of that type of curl." (My curls do look unusually nice today)
I responded that, ironically, it was my chocolate friends (on cep) who told me what products to buy. So if she ever sees a white girl in the ethnic hair aisle it's probably me.

I think I've spent the last week or so reading all the threads on this board. I haven't been lurking in the shadows like I normally do since I recently checked myself into a behavioral health hospital to get help for my anxiety and panic issues.

So. I just got home. From work. Yeah. Didn't make it to class.
About a month ago, we bought a used treadmill (hot dog machine) for Jax so it would be easier to walk him outside (spends a little time on the hot dog machine then take him out for a walk. He's a little tired so a bit easier to handle/train). Well, the belt went weird on it, so we had to get a new one. We're not spending a ton on $ on them. $80 for the one that took a shit and $75 for the one we just bought (which is a NordicTrac -- it's really pretty nice). I get home and have to help H get the thing into the house. JFC those things are heavy. I get inside and he's got the broke ass treadmill folded up. It's garbage day so I'm confused. Dude tells me he's keeping it because eventually he'll be able to get a new belt for it for cheap and he'll fix it and sell it. JFC. And I'm going to have to help him take this piece of crap downstairs. Where nothing but dust collection will happen to it.
