I pack something similar for my kids at least once a week. They love yogurt and cheese sticks for lunch and what's not to like about protein? Plus you've got your grains and fruit. Nothing wrong with that meal, IMO.
DH did lunch duty last week. He saw a HUGE array of lunches. I honestly can't believe his teacher is really making note of this stuff and then making a point to say something to you. Sh eneeds to back off.
Another vote for normal. DD will only eat PB and jelly and this year, she has gotten to be good friends with a child who has a peanut allergy, and she wants to sit with her at the PB free table with her, so she gets a full fat Greek yogurt every day in place of her sandwich.
We are out of peanut butter aka the only thing Xavier eats. I really do not want to pack up the kids to go to the store right now, I packed him greek yogurt, cheerios, cheese stick, banana and goldfish crackers. Tell me this is ok for one day and his teacher won't make a passive aggressive statement as to the nutrition of his meal.
I gave the girls pretty much the exact same lunch yesterday when Naomi had to remind me as we were walking out that they eat at school on Mondays.

That sounds like good choices, better than PBJ everyday. My DD once took nothing but a can of cake frosting in her lunch! She was in 4th or 5th grade and I let her pack her own, but didn't check it that day. Of course the lunch lady was the mother of my sisters bff so she let us know, I was mortified, but she made it through and is grown with her own DD to do things to embarrass her now, lol.

LOL! This cracks me up. I keep DD's American Girl earrings in a ziplock. I guess DH saw the ziplock in another drawer and thought it was empty and stuffed it back in the ziplock box and I put her sandwich in it. She came home from school crying that there were earrings in her sandwich and that the teacher had to help her. I was SO confused and then, ohhhh yeah...those earrings. I was mortified.
Nothing:) I just wanted to verify that I am, in fact, not a crappy mother and my judgment in food choices is sound. The teacher is--judgmental. She is very nice, so I am not shit talking her, but I feel judged in my food choices by her so if/when she says something i'll tell her ML gave me the seal of approval. haha.
Oh, I was just teasing/being sarcastic . Because sometimes meals are a massive mosh mosh of stuff!
No issues with that. DS got offended that we served him squash last night, and in return refused to eat the remainder of his meal. (Had a bite of fish, which he likes, but turned his nose up to the entire plate after the squash incident.)
I offered him a banana and yogurt and considered that a decent dinner.
