help with halloween costume

The kiddo decided she wants to be Hello Kitty.  We are going to buy her some kitty ears and we bought this hat at Old Navy for her to wear when she trick or treats if its cold 


What do you all think of this dress for the costume:

I don't want to buy the actual Hello Kitty costume because it has a giant picture of Hello Kitty on it, which I find annoying. Then she would wear tights and Mary Janes.
Would this be cute?

That dress is PERFECT, and so much better than some official merch with Hello Kitty's head on it. And like Star Gazer said, she can wear it again.
