The whole ebola hysteria is really annoying me. You are more likely to die from something caused by obesity, smoking or drinking, not effing ebola. But heaven forbid people worry about that!
People who don't take responsibility for their actions/words are annoying me today.

I agree with you bullygirl979. There are no less than 10 people on my FB feed fear mongering about ebola. I'm far more concerned about the enterovirus than I am about a zombie apocalypse brought on by ebola.
I am feeling very run down today. Headache, body aches, sore throat... I've actually spent most of the morning dozing/resting. I really hope I'm not getting sick, but I think it's time to break out the echinacea.
I am also really annoyed with the ebola panic. I am far more concerned about picking up a bad strain of the flu.

Thankfully, most of the people who show up regularly on my newsfeed are friends from grad school, and since I went to grad school for biomedical sciences, there hasn't been much (if any) freaking out about Ebola. Which is good, because I haven't been sleeping well this week, so my patience for stupidity is very low at the moment.
I have done next to nothing at work this week. Oooooops.

Damnit. He just did it again. I feel like I'm irrationally annoyed by this. I want to yell at him "I'm not a kid! I'm old enough to have a kid of my own and I'm sure as fuck not your kid, no matter the age gap we have."

Next time he does it, tilt your head and give him a "bless your heart" type of smile.
And call him Gramps! Or Geezer. Whichever one suits him the most.

lol, that's pretty much what I did.
He's really not all that old. Maybe late 40s/early 50s.Looks younger. He should know better.
I just had a talk with the psychologist here who would be interested in me doing some part time work under him in our psychological services unit if I could get the right credentials. I'm going to see what I'd need to do to make that happen. I'm really flattered that he would like me to work up there, even part time!
Oh I forgot to tell you guys that I bid on a few cute items from the dog rescue's FB auction. I won all of them last night. A lot of halloween toys, a halloween LED collar and leash, plush tennis balls and lots of cookies. I'm so excited about this. He's so spoiled.

I'm trying really hard not to be annoyed with a girl in my office. We share an office with another company owned by our owner's daughter. Her admin assistant sits at the reception desk and she's out there crying. I feel like I'm being bitchy and unsympathetic, but this is the 5th time in the last week and a half. She is the first person people see when they walk in the door and she's in sweats and a sweatshirt out there with yesterday's make up running all over her face...
I told coirker that my plan for avoiding Ebola is drinking a lot...since alcohol is used to clean things. She lectured me for 10 minutes about how that wouldn't work. I apparently need to hold up a sign that says 'just kidding' around her!
