Alzi we"re thinking of you and waiting to hear how great your appt goes.
Everthing is peachy here. She's on my lap going through the desk drawer right now with a receipt in one hand and a phone charger (unplugged) in the other, speaking her baby language. Whoops, there goes everything that was on the desk:)

Alzi, glad you have an appointment today! Sometimes it is just old blood, I'm sure everything is fine! Sure is scary though...
I'm 27 weeks preggo now. It has only been a week of bed rest and ugh... I hate it. But I hate the thought of Lauryl coming too soon a lot more! I went to labor and delivery yesterday for abdominal cramps. They upped my dose of medicine to stop contractions. Makes me feel loopy. My Grandpa also died on Friday and they had the funeral yesterday. It was very hard just laying here... The hits keep coming!

40 weeks 2 days. Are you kidding me??? All the stress of keeping him in and the attempted bed rest, etc. and here I am past my EDD. I'm just done. I feel so awful physically, and mentally I feel so bad that I can't keep up with Kennedy and really enjoy the last few days that it's just the two of us.
Kennedy's doing great, I really like the new speech therapist but she has pretty high expectations for things that we need to work on between visits. It's truly more like work than just play, and I'm struggling a bit with that, especially being is pregnant. But we are starting to see improvements already. She's definitely becoming a toddler - some days I feel like my sweet little girl has been kidnapped and taken over by a moody toddler. She's also getting another molar, so that may have something to do with it. I really can't wait to see her with her brother.
Alzi - Thinking of you, hopefully it is nothing. I had some bleeding as well and everything was ok.
Surfbetty - I'm sorry about your Grandpa and I hope those contractions stop soon so that baby can stay put(and you can get off of bed rest).
Mia turned three months last week, hard to believe. She is "talking" up a storm these days and holding her little toys now. I just love watching her grow up.
Nothing new with me. Just trudging along. 33 weeks today. I have been lucky with such an easy pregnancy that I am keeping my fingers crossed that the labor and delivery go just as smoothly. If only I could be so lucky! I am dreading all of it even just being in the hospital. I have always despised being in a hospital, nursing home, etc. Even just going in to our hospital tour a couple weeks ago was enough for me.
I will spend the rest of the afternoon working on thank you cards from yesterday's shower. I would like to just get them done and out of the way. I have a regular OB checkup on Friday and that's all for baby this week.

Nothing new here. I went for my 16 week appointment this past Friday and maybe sounded great! I go on the 22nd to find out the sex and we cannot wait!!!
D has his 2 month check up tomorrow. I'll report more then.
Today, the babysitter said he rolled over from back to stomach. Is that even possible yet? She also put his pants on backwards. Maybe she was confused which way was up? :-P
Both my little girls are doing great. Madeline LOVES to breastfeed, so I am trying to figure this whole thing because I wasn't able to breastfeed with MacKenzie. She definitely has a witching hour from 10:00 to 12:00 which makes for a very hard night, but we will get there. It wouldn't be so bad if she weren't awake at the same time MacKenzie takes her nap.
It was my first day alone without H today and I am not going to lie... it was tough. I am exhausted and officially ready for bed. When he gets home, I will definitely be hitting the hay for a few hours before the night time feedings.
MacKenzie is doing great too. She is testing boundaries which is to be expected, but she is great help. She loves to get the baby's diapers for me and was so excited because she helped me give her a sponge bath. She seems to be enjoying her baby!

Alzi - glad everything is okay! I bleed so much that I was convinced it was just my period. I hadn't a clue I was pregnant.
I am 32 weeks and have been on vacation the past 10 days - Cancun to Rhode Island. H's mom had a really nice shower for me at a tea room. There were about 40 people there and we got great gifts and lots and lots of gifts cards. I can't wait to go shopping when we get home this weekend.
Ive been running this week since I don't have access to a gym and I'm sometimes I wimp to swim in the cold ocean. I've ran 2 mi and walked 2 mi the past week. So far, so good though H is concerned I'll fall.
I commented today that this third Tri is not as hard As people said. The first is what kicked my ass.

Alzi-do happy everything is good!
Things are good here. H is so busy with work and is traveling every week til the 20th of August so that's rough but the lil man is good. We are working on bfing without the nipple shields. I just love this little man so much. H is so good with him too and I just love that!!
Moon- Get in the water! It's warm now :-) Although, last time I was in Newport, they had red tide. Is it still gross?
I have. but I still complain of being cold. The water has been nice all things considered. We went kayaking yesterday and swam a bunch. H goes and swim-swims every morning and I only like to open water swim if the sun is shining brightly. I went once.
All and all we've had great weather. Besides the little drama I stirred up over the room situation, it's been a great trip.

Alzi, glad everything was OK. Any kind of bleeding is scary.
Pretty sure I'm officially second tri already, which seems way too soon. Just got back from vacation and officially have shared the news with my family, so that was fun. When we told my aunts, Lily didn't even say hi, she just said, "There's a baby in Mommy's belly and I'm going to be a tallest sister."

That really is the cutest thing ever! I still love what she said for Her Fathers Day interview about how the beach is farther than the park. Their little minds are so innocent. I love them.

I really am loving this preschooler age. Not that I didn't love my baby girl and all that, but this age is just so fun. (Insert everyone's favorite line: Just wait!)
She also thought we were up in the sky for our vacation to Minnesota/Wisconsin, and Florida is on the ground. I can see why she thinks that, with the airplane and all, and also we look at maps and everything is up from Florida.
