Ahhhh I was just trying on outfits. I have a second round interview next week. I guess its third round because I had a phone interview (one hour) and a three hour first round in person already.
I wore my one proper fitting black suit to the first interview. That was last week.
Next week I have a four hour interview. Some people overlap. Can I wear the same black suit with a different blouse?
If I can't wear the same suit I don't know what to do. I have a gray suit that fits in pants length and jacket fits my body but I've been lazy and the sleeves are too long. I'm such an asshole that I just wear it to work with the sleeves rolled up. I don't think I have time to get it altered seeing as my interview is Tuesday morning.
I have another black suit but I lost weight and it looks too big on me. It hangs funny and adds bulk bc it's too big.
My other option is a black sheath dress made of crepe suiting material. I have a red blazer that looks super cute with it but it's obviously not a paired suit.
I have to work all day tomorrow until 9 or 10 pm and then again all day Saturday. I generally can't buy suiting off the rack because of my t-Rex arms. For example even talbots petite women jackets are too long in the sleeve.
Unless it has really noticeable details, no one will notice that you're wearing the same black suit. Change up the blouse and accessories and you're good.
I think you could do either the same suit with different blouse and accessories - or the sheath dress if the group or if this round is a little less formal.

I actually think this round is more formal as i meeting some higher level folks.
Aside from the fashion, is it weird that I am spending more time with some of the people I already met?
Example, this position joins an existing team. I met four of them all at once last week and spent an hour with them. Next week I see two of them for half an hour and then the other two for half an hour.
I'd wear the black suit twice in this instance. I doubt most will notice. Switch the blouse, and if it's an option, switch up the handbag or other accessories, like jewelry and shoes. if you can change those up, that should be a distraction from the suit if you are worried.

I had the same problem recently and I ended up wearing a different suit I didn't love, but I bought a new shirt for a crisper look. If enough time has passed that you could have reasonably had it dry cleaned, i think it's fine to wear the same suit with a different shirt and accessories, (even if you didn't dry clean it, haha). I also think a gray jacket/black skirt combo or a black sheath dress with jacket are fine for a 2nd interview.
Eta: I got the job and I don't think what I wore to the 2nd interview (where I met my boss for the first time) mattered much as long as I was dressed professionally.
If it's a basic black suit, I think it's fine to re-wear with different accessories and a different blouse.
You may be able to find a tailor to help you with your other suit between now and Tuesday - I paid a rush fee once to get sleeves tailored before an interview. (I'm just tall enough for a tall jacket, but the sleeves always need to be shortened!)

Plus other people.
Ok - In that case I would wear the same suit with different top/accessories.
For my workplace, this type of interviewing wouldn't be unusual - probably an initial interview with a hiring committee that has some varied representation (including someone on the team), and then progressing to higher levels and more time with people you would work with most often (team members, direct reports, etc.).
I actually like (both as a candidate and a supervisor) the opportunity to get to know the organization/people a little more deeply.
But I'm the first to admit hiring practices at my workplace can be less than ideal

I don't even have time to see a tailor until Monday. That's why I'm effed on the gray suit.

Definitely just wear the same suit with a different blouse & accessories.
As an interviewer, I am by far way more focused on getting what I need to get out of an interview than with what the candidate is wearing. I really don't even notice to be honest, unless someone is totally inappropriate, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Ditto the same suit and different accessories/top. My last job (and I'm in your line of work) I had 3 (!) in person interviews. Two were with nearly the same group of people. The 3rd interview I work the same black suit, but a shell instead of a collared shirt and I wore a low bun rather than my hair down. I think that made a big difference in how I looked and no one noticed it was the same suit.
I think that's okay, particularly if there's some time between interviews. Nobody is going to remember what you wore the first time around with any particularity.
No one would notice unless it's a particularly unique suit - I'm thinking ruffles or some other "fashion" cut.
Also, I interviewed the same person 3 times for a position. Phone interview and 2 in person interviews. I kind of thought my boss was nuts making me do this but whatever. It worked out and he's starting Monday and I'm ecstatic that it's been 3.5 months and I finally have someone to fill the position.

It actually does have a slight ruffle in the back....fuck me. I will post pictures later if I can. I am wearing sheath dress today with red blazer at the office.

Still sounds like your best option. I like clothes & fashion and I still doubt I would realize you're wearing the same thing. I like the dress and blazer but may not be formal enough.

Yeah I agree dress and blazer probably not formal enough. Thanks for the reality check.
I wish I had a matching suit jacket for it. It's like a crepe suiting material and comes from a line of suiting separates from dress barn. I might swing by and see if they have one. If I had a matching black suit jacket to it, do you think it would be ok?
