I think we need to institute Friday night cocktail hour.
Our typical Friday night routine involves cocktails. I have one around 6 or 6:30. Then when h gets home at 7 or 7:30, I make us each one.
If liquor is low, then the pre-cocktail dog walk involves a trip to the dog friendly liquor store for supplies and biscuits.
Regular specialty cocktails would make the dog happy, so that's a good justification.

Here are 2 that I made for some friends that they all seemed to like. They were easy to make too and healthy. Haha. Well maybe the fruity one was!
