At 14 months out (& no regular exercise routine), I'd like to tell myself that my body is just a lot slower to bounce back this time. Last time, doing the same or worse than this time, I was at Pre-preg weight by 6 weeks and 15 lb below by 6 mo. This time, I'm still 6ish above.
No. My boobs are the only thing that got wrecked, but a nice bra does wonders It was harder for me to lose the weight with #2, and then even harder with the 3rd, but we are our own worst critics. I doubt anyone else noticed the extra 5-10 pounds on me.
Oh my belly is bad. Bad. Bad. Granted I was larger with dd2 and gained more weight so I had a lot of stretch marks. I'm only 3w pp but it's rough right now

No. I mean, I don't look fit as I did when ds1 was born, but a lot of that has to do with not exercising regularly between pregnancies or at all during the second. Any weight I'm holding on to is related to the couch, big macs and ice cream. I just don't take care of myself as well as I did pre kids. My boobs have been saggy since my teens so breastfeeding hasn't effected them. Eta: immediately pp the second time I had a huge belly still and had to walk around holding it in with my hand so I could breathe. It was like my diaphragm was displaced. I thought I was screwed but everything pulled back together after a week.
After baby #2 I needed to weigh less to look the same. For years I gave up ever getting my flat stomach back. Then over the past 6 months I lost 10 lbs and dropped to what I weighed in high school, a good 5 lbs less than what I weighed after baby #1. Voila! My flat stomach was back. I fit into all my old clothes again. I even wore a bikini in public. I do have some faded stretch marks, a bit saggier skin, and a scar from my hernia repair thanks to DD, but I can overlook those things.

Well, with 1 I gained 70lbs and still had like 30 to lose when I got pregnant with 2. Both were c sections, so yeah there's scars and I have a csection pooch. Kid 2 has only been out for 2 weeks.... But I'm only 7 lbs from my starting weight with #2.
my second pregnancy started stretching my stomach where the stretch marks from my first stopped. otherwise it just took longer to lose the weight, despite gaining less.
After a year of calorie counting and weight training my shape is pretty much the same as before babies, but I got lots of stretch marks during my second pregnancy, after having none during my first. So that was disappointing. They are pretty well faded now, but I still notice them even if no one else can see them.
Also, i lost a lot of weight from my butt, lol. I used to have a nice round butt and now it's pretty flat. I'm hoping that the metric ton of squats I'm doing 3x/week will help.
I haven't had #2 yet but most of what I haven't lost from #1 is just shitty eating weight from #1. I ate like CRAP…I used being pregnant as an excuse to eat like shit. I regret it now, especially since I was 193lbs when I got pregnant with #2 and that really isn't a good place to be starting from. I can't imagine it won't be really difficult for me after #2.
But like a PP, my boobs were droopy before I had DD…I guess they could get worse but I haven't been a braless wonder since I was lik 14, lol.

I'm too recently post-partum to make a final judgement, but I definitely have more visible stretch marks this time and I'm losing the weight at a noticeably slower rate.

I'm due in less than two weeks, so I'll let you know. My BFF bounced back faster than ever due to BF and being so busy with a baby and toddler. I'm hoping for the same! She said it did wonders for her figure!
Hahahhahaahaha, uh yes. But, to be fair it was baby number two and three for me. But it completely destroyed my body. I am in physical therapy for my diastasis recti. I also learned via pt that my butt muscles are very weak,.particularly on the right. It's to the point where I can barely balance on one foot on the right. I have so much skin on my stomach and it's just hanging. My c section scar from my first (vbac with girls so no scar) is down well Below my pubic bone. Probably a good 4 inches from where it should be. There is hardly a spot on my stomach not covered in stretch marks.
So yeah, it wrecked my body. I was certainly not thin before but I'm having a hard time dealing with this the past few weeks. But, having said all of that, I'd do it again in a heart beat!! My kids were definitely worth it.
No. My boobs are the only thing that got wrecked, but a nice bra does wonders
Pretty much this. After #1 my breasts were mostly unchanged, but I definitely noticed a loss of volume and shape after I stopped BFing #2. They've rounded out again since getting pregnant with #3, but I have no doubt they'll droop back down after BFing again.
Otherwise I've faired pretty well, although that is probably largely genetics. We went on vacation a couple of months ago with my mom and aunt, and I noticed both still look great in swimsuits despite having had 4 kids each and being in their late 50s and 60s.
I've noticed that my upper body has been more muscular since #2, but I think that has to do with lifting and carrying more kids more often.
Define "wreck." I'm at my pre-pregnancy weight 11 weeks out, but have abdominal separation that makes a flat belly a distant dream. I'm hopeful that regular physical therapy will fix me long-term, more in terms of how I feel, not looks.
with baby #1, I remember that Constant breast feeding and baby wearing did in my upper back and led to intense body work later. I hope to avoid that this time by being proactive.
I'll be the outlier. I'm in better shape now at 32 after three kids than I was before I had my first.
Do I have stretch marks? Yup. Do I care? Nope. I'm back to a size medium, size 6, the noticeable flub is gone, my hips aren't any wider than when they started. I really don't feel all that different than before kids. I have a slight little bump above my csection scar but that's only really noticeable when I'm naked.
I bought a bikini for Hawaii and if I get the nerve, stretch marks won't stop me. But I have literally worked my ass off the last few months. My weight isn't dramatically less but that's because I've toned up. Now, my boobs are sad after BFing three kids, lol. Oh well. Maybe I'll buy some fake ones someday.
I'm 4 months out. The elasticity in my skin is definitely not what it once was. I lost the pregnancy weight, but my stomach looks nothing like it did previously - before getting pg with #2, but after DD1. But I suspect that being 38 factors into that as well.
No, #2 has not wrecked my body. I am about 13 months out from DD2. I would love to drop a final five pounds, but I think it'll come off fast when I wean, like it did last time, and I'm not in a huge rush to wean. I have been working out more consistently lately, focusing on my core, and I am feeling GREAT. DH even told me the other day I looked skinny. (heart)
Not baby #2, but baby #3 really made a difference as far as stretch marks, the elasticity of the skin on my stomach, pp hair loss, and the shrinkage of my boobs I am the same weight I was before I had DD1, but my hips aren't the same. I'm definitely not as toned either due to lack of exercise. Still trying to find motivation for that, I was walking at work but now that the weather has gotten and colder, forget it.
