This has been a really crappy day. DS had a gigantic blow out this morning less than 10 minutes before walking out the door. My tooth has been bothering me, so I made an emergency dental appointment for the middle of the day. I left a few minutes ahead of time and narrowly missed being caught up in a high speed chase! My stomach has been upset for 24+ hours. The only things I had in my lunch bag were dairy/cheese based, and made me want to vomit. Today DS started biting my nipple so hard it bled. I told DH to shut up when he told me to calm down after DS bit me. My computer keeps restarting, doing some damn update, and all I want to do is print out the receipt so DH can get his $200 from Verizon. I hate weeks like this where I have something every evening. I so need to go to bed, but the cleaning ladynis coming tomorrow and I still need to hide crap.
Apparently J only napped from 2:40 to 3:35 at daycare today. It was his first day so I'm going to chalk it up to excitement and too much going on, but he looked sooo tired when I picked him up this afternoon.
I hope I didn't confuse them though. They wanted a schedule so I told them he'd need a bottle around 9 and that we give food about an hour later but usually he takes a nap in between. I was just so flustered this morning since we were running late and I forgot all his paperwork. I need to rewrite his "schedule" for tomorrow.
He took a 45 min nap in the car and was delightful when my mom was here this evening so that was good at least. But the nap also made him stay up later. Ugh, sleep sucks!
Omg that was the longest 2.5 hours after work ever. Ds was in such a cranky mood, threw countless tantrums, was in time out three times. Blah. Terrrible twos?
Now he and dh are laughing upstairs. Wtf dude.
My iphone 6 came today! Heading up soon to set it up

I'm annoyed that my grandma keeps calling me and demanding I talk to my sister. She unschools because she believes that character building and teaching children about honor are more important than academics. I don't know what I am supposed to do about that, and I am sick of getting guilted that I don't care about my nephews. She is allowed to choose thr priorities for her family even if I disagree
I took a preschool tour tonight and then came home all excited to tell H about it. He then bitched about the cost and we had a huge argument that left me in tears and now I'm hiding in the bedroom.
I'm so sorry mama. This shit is really, really stressful. Plus a fuckton of money. Emotions are high in this house too.

My BFF texted me the date and place of her bachelorette party tonight (I'm her maid of honor). I'll have a 5 month old breastfeeding baby at that point and it's a 6.5hour drive from here.
Considering I'm nearly a month out from giving birth and have more pertinent issues to concern myself with (like birth, how the eff am I going to be mom to two littles) I'm already having major mom guilt about leaving my unborn baby for two nights.
That's why I'm still up. Bc I'm worried about something 6 months from now.
brooklyn, that sounds so stressful, I'm sorry. One of the things that bothered me about my daycare issue today (TV ) was that we want to use this daycare during the early preschool time too.... but TV at daycare/preschool is a deal breaker for us. I do not want to have to fight or stress over preschool! Good luck getting him back on your side.
Also I'm judging hard one of DH's friends on FB. Their child is in first grade and they have pulled him out of school twice already this year for vacation. WTF, it's only October and school starts after Labor Day.
My BIL and sister are having this debate with each other constantly. My sister is clearly team you and feels their kindergartners should no longer be allowed to skip school at whim (as they did in daycare). BIL is team your DH's friends.
I picked him up at DC and realized I need a third arm when I went to leave. Bucket seat in one hand, X in the other and no hands for doors! I'm sure I'll be a pro soon, but it was awkward today. X's teacher ended up helping me to the car cause she was on her way out, too. :/
Take the help!! The nice daycare ladies help us out of daycare everyday. (Because stairs! With babies in a stroller! Crazy cakes.)

But was it for Disney?!
The trip in September was a Disney cruise, actually. He missed the first week of school of first grade. Even my mom who is a 10 breezy thought that was ridiculous.
Looks like they're somewhere tropical this trip, not sure where.

Today Z asked me which did they name first, the color orange or the fruit orange. I had no idea so I had to look it up. For anyone looking to avoid embarrassment, it's the fruit.
I love hearing your stories about Z, he cracks me up!
