My boyfriend and I didn't have tv or Internet when we lived together so when we were together in the evenings it was spent working out, playing games, cooking together, listening to music, having sex and talking a lot. Honestly a lot of times we would just sit and talk or joke around all night with a glass of wine and that sounds boring but it was actually fun and kept us connected.

TV night IS our extra special time. We haven't been able to sit down together and watch gotham yet and I miss that. We have done the other necessity mentioned a bunch though:)
We're totally in a rut. M-Th we work out, come home, shower, eat dinner, and then watch tv. Fridays we walk the dogs (oooh! activity, lol), hang out outside, drink wine, and talk about future vacations.
I need to be a better wife and do puzzles with him - he loves puzzles.
We play with the dog, play ping pong, work out, and sometimes play Wii, in addition to the usual computer/tv/movie time. Sometimes we'll cook a new recipe together.
This would be so much fun. Well fun until I had to wake my kid up, take DH to the hospital, and explain how he accidentally ended up with a steak knife in his leg. LOL
Nothing. Kids are in bed by 8:30. We watch tv and play on our iPads for an hour and then I fall asleep.
We make an effort to do Saturday date nights at home. We got down in the basement after kids go to bed to hang out just the 2 of us without phones/iPads.
LOL. I just laughed inappropriately during a meeting. Thanks!
Are you making fun of how awesome we are?
Lol, I legit thought you meant the skip-it when I read your post and I was cracking up thinking about adults playing skip-it after the kids went to bed.

Hahahaha, no, skip bo, the card game. But this would be AWESOME!
We play board games and drink sometimes. It's fun.
Life on the edge over here.
We do this a lot. We'll also pick a night to have dinner without the kids. We feed them, put them to bed, and then cook dinner and eat together.
We do this too, most weekend nights we don't have plans. Then we sit outside with the fire pit and split (at least) a bottle of wine and listen to music.
