It drives me nuts because everyone's definition of STTN is different. I think officially it means sleeping a 7 hour stretch. To some it means only waking to eat.
Well that sure is some manipulation of the data! Lol. No, these people are saying their newborns sleep, like, 9-6 straight through, which I think everyone can agree constitutes STTN.
M was a perfect angel at church. He randomly fell asleep 20 min in (his regular nap time, yay routine!) I was really loathe to get him out of the car seat to take him up for communion, but I didn't want to skip communion and the seat was too awkward to navigate to the front of church. He didn't go back to sleep, but he did look around quietly for the remainder of the service!
Oh yeah, and he had a diaper blowout. (wilted) I've really got to buy him size 2s!
We were at a wedding last night and DD had so much fun. She was chasing boys all around and dancing. It was adorable until she started dancing up against a pole/post. Um NO, DH stopped that real quick...15 months old and already giving Daddy a heart attack.

ILs left about 30 minutes ago. They were supposed to leave tomorrow so we were pretty surprised when we got home from breakfast & they said they were going home a day early. Looks like the rest of the day will be errands & cleaning instead of time with the grandparents. Not sure if I'm happy or bummed about this.
I kind of wish we didn't have the piano so I could turn that room into a playroom...instead it's our "kind of fancy so we never spend time in it" room.
i bet you could still turn it into a playroom. Our playroom has a sideboard in it
redheadk is posting her playroom again, so we can all be jealous again
chickens987, how did you get your DD to call you "mummy"? DH and I really want DH to use that, but we're afraid that being at DC all day, he'll say what the other kids say.
We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday which was fun. We have no plans today. DH is at church. I'm GBCNing while DS is napping. I should be doing stuff...I'm so unmotivated today.
I'm not chicken but M calls me Mummy or Mumma.
DH and I and all our family members say Mummy so he does too. But if someone says "your Mom/Momma" he knows that means me.
cricketwife, it started when I was traveling for a week for work, so I really think it was just H calling me that to her. It stuck.
E is all dada these days. If only that meant DH got up with her this morning.
In other news I'm apparently not nice bc I want to spread out the cost of thanksgiving. I keep telling DH if any of his family asks what to bring tell them $20.
We went to the farmers market to "buy cheap produce."
We came home with one squash.
And $70 worth of meats, sauces, hummus, dog treats, and cheese. Not MM.
LOL I totally do this too. DH will be like "how much did you spend?" I'll say "$60" but it's all honey, shiitake mushrooms, humus, flowers, and eggs. Little to no actual produce.
Having my first ever yard sale...so far a few hundred bucks, bartered 2mo of free fencing lessons & an offer of a part time job I can bring the kids to! Lol!

We have had such a great weekend. I am all sappy about it, I have no idea where these emotions are coming from. If I didn't know better I would think I was pregnant.

We had a such a nice weekend. Beautiful weather, lots of outside time, time spent with bunch of different friends. Plus M was so good today including having to wait in a long line for brunch.
I am petrified for winter because we have gotten so use to being outside from start to finish I don't know what we will do when it is cold and dark
Our new daycare sent us twenty forms to read and/or fill out. They don't have parent-teacher conferences, they have "Family Gatherings". The kids drink juice that's fresh squeezed from the kitchen. Which is certified USDA organic. Diapers must be either cloth or eco-friendly.
@this I'm just going to get things started for you here...
I just reorganized the clothes that I bought ahead for DD. We are good for next summer and just need couple of colder weather item for next winter. Ooppps. I need to stop buying her clothes.

And the Steelers won! That game was so much fun to watch.
