I had such a good weekend! Drove to St. Paul on Friday, with the kiddos. Grabbed coffee and hung out at the hotel. Saturday morning DS and I ran the Monster Dash 5K. It was sooooo much fun! I was really proud of DS for running half of it.
Went to church Saturday afternoon and DD snuggled with me throughout the service. Got home and DS climbed into bed with me and told me he was never going to leave my bed!
Sunday we worked at church, ran errands and cleaned.

Got our Back To The Future costumes together and then spent yesterday at our nephew's birthday party. Basically we ran around a lot and now I'm wiped.
H is gone this week. He'll be back Thursday night. He's gone next week. Then he's home for a week, then gone again the week after. At least this week and next week he's only 125 miles away from home. The last trip he has this week is across the country. The only good thing to him being gone is that I can watch the shows I love that he gives me grief about.

Weekend was exhausting!
Was in NYC on Friday for work so I got to hang with mags and muddled.
Saturday I made my Halloween costume with a friend. Went to Halloween party. Got hammered at said Halloween party. It wasn't pretty. Yesterday was a recovery day. All day.
My parents came in for a visit. Friday night it was just me and them, we talked and drank Saturday, the kids came back so we played around the house. Sunday was park & ice cream place day. DS#2 crashed at 4:30.
Also, I can finally sleep in my room again! The LL had someone come out and confirm the nest was destroyed, then they hit it with the shop vac and sealed up the spot. There were a few stragglers that got stuck, but they're dead now (and it was like 4 since Saturday afternoon). It took like three treatments to kill the nest, but they got it.
My weekend was good but busy. Friday I met up with a friend at a diner in the evening. Saturday was the walk for my work. Afterwards a few of us went to a nearby dive bar. Then I went home, got ready, and went to my friend's birthday dinner.
Yesterday I went to my friend's place for breakfast, then we went to the Anthro crafting class. We did a little shopping afterwards too and I bought a robe that matches some PJs I got at Anthro for less than half price. Of course yesterday I also stressed a bit, but I still had fun. Yesterday evening was my friend's monthly dinner and it was fun. I took apple coffee cake with me and it was so yummy. I need to find a recipe for it!
tiramisu, it was under an eave on the second level--right in between the new siding and the old siding. But they found a teeny enough crack to enter the house, so when it started to cool off at night the sick/dying ones would find their way into the house and not be able to get back out. There was only one dying one in there this morning, so yay! The spot is all sealed up and they checked the house for any other spots where they might try and move in next year--so far we're good.
Friday night I was supposed to meet a friend for a drink but canceled because I just wasn't feeling it. Took a long hot shower and went to bed early instead.
Saturday I did laundry, went to the gym, met a friend for coffee. Saturday night was my friend's annual Halloween party. So fun! A friend who I'd been on the "outs" with approached me to make up. Very unexpected but happy surprise.
Sunday was football and the same sports bar I go to every week. My new friend who I met through work came by. It was so good to see her!

The weekend was good. Had a blast on Friday night celebrating bff' s birthday. Saturday I did some shopping and dyed my hair. Sunday I worked on my car in between rain showers. It took longer than I'd planned, but the oil has been changed, my dome light works again, and I have a functional heater. So, yay!
This weekend was so fun and relaxing. Hung out on my porch with H on Friday chatting and listening to music. Went to a dog costume festival/parade saturday then ended up drinking some beers in the park during a kite festival, ended the night with a bonfire and a bbq at BIL's house. Sunday kicked my tail in a hot yoga flow class, grocery shopped and then hung out with my family. I also got my hair cut. I feel fabulous.

I went to bed pretty early Friday night. Saturday I went to yoga, then alternated between relaxing and getting stuff done. Yesterday my grandma came to visit. Brother, SIL, and I took her to lunch and then to the apple orchard. She slept on my couch, which threw off my routine this morning but otherwise wasn't a big deal, and she headed home right before I left for work. I still wish I'd taken the day off, though.
Friday was date night/sleepover with the new guy, and we hung out for most of Saturday as well. Saturday night I went to see The Judge with my mom - SO GOOD Sunday I went to a college basketball scrimmage with my fam and had dinner. Lazed around the rest of the time. I was going to clean and I didn't - so that's tonight.
Hi! I was super busy this weekend. My mom was visiting Friday and Saturday. No health scare, thankfully. She just wanted to lose weight, and thought being vegan was a good idea. I didn't have the heart to tell her she'd probably lost muscle mass since she's not eating enough protein, but whatever. I guess there are worse things she could be doing than eating extra veggies.
We took her to dinner Friday, brunch Saturday, then apple and pumpkin picking. Then she left, and I went out for a girl's night.
Sunday I went to brunch with the bf, then we took the pups on a 5 mile hike. It was AWESOME fall weather. I should have snapped some foliage photos for doglove
ETA: JFC - DL deactivated? And she's gone from FB? Clearly I missed something
She just needed a break. I don't think it is a forever thing.

It was really nice, we went to dinner at a great mexican place, went back to his apartment and got distracted and missed the midnight movie. Oop. He made us breakfast the next day and we just hung out. And took a nap.

I'm back! Nepal was awesome--I was there last Sunday morning through Thursday late afternoon, and work stuff only took up maybe 6 hours each day, so lots of time to go sight-seeing. I saw the largest Buddhist stupa in the world, the Monkey Temple (super cool!), and took a plane ride to Mt. Everest (phenomenal)! It was such a great experience! But 36 hours of travel in each direction for ~4 days on the ground was pretty brutal!
Welcome back Scooby! I'm still waiting to see my secret crush which isn't secret at all co-worker to hear about his trip, I've seen one picture--the dinner he had on his last night there.
Your trip sounds awesome! I'm so glad you got to get out and see the sights

So it turned out all 3 of my sisters came down for the surprise. The two I found out about live near each other so it made sense for them to come down together. It crossed my mind for a second that my older sister might come too, but she lives in a different city and travels for work constantly so I didn't think there was any way all 3 could possibly come at the same time. They all actually travel for work a ton so it's a miracle they could make it work at all.
I met them at the airport thinking I was going to be surprising them and I still ended up being the one to be surprised. I burst into tears of course when I saw my niece from the other end of the baggage claim area.
H came up with the idea and organized the whole thing and bought their tickets. He is seriously the best. We mostly just hung around the apartment and spent time down by the pool, but we didn't need to do much more. It was nice just to all be together.
