I think ladybug's OP was soft. I think @chelsmonster's response was soft. And then ladybug's response was also soft.
I'm not sure why anyone outside of those two are even discussing it because it was a very friendly exchange.
But I'm not the best one to give advice on posting, I don't think!
This is exactly it. Ladybug said her opinion. I voiced my issue with it (which, all I said was that it was hard not to take it personally) and that was IT.
But thank you irishsara for making it personal and saying I do this all the time.
My skin is too thin for this board, way too often.
Just so you know, I cried during the exchange yesterday. No one is immune to hurt feelings. I'll also never tell anyone to suck it up because I think it's mean. Edie fell the other day and my FIL told her to "suck it up" and I cried in the car after it happened. It upset me and it didn't even happen to me!

TrudyCampbell What did you do differently? They looked great in the first pic. The second one you posted makes them look more arched and darker?
I have a scar in one so it kind of hinders how they can be shaped but I think I need some brow gel or something. Some hairs near the arch tend to point down. I cant pluck them because it would leave bald spots. I'm nervous to trim them between waxes.
I got them done recently. I go to a fancy brow lady who uses a tweezer only.
"Suck it up " is a harsh way of saying things, but "relax - 99% of the board likes you a lot but we all have different opinions" is more like it.
Several people yesterday said it was a terrible thing to pay your older kid to play with the younger. I do that. I think it's genius!!!! I don't care at all that others don't agree with that parenting and won't do it. I do lots of things as a parent others won't. I was giving whole grapes at one year! Having a different opinion doesn't mean they are judging YOU. It's about having confidence in your decisions plus the confidence of knowing that you can love and respect people even if they have a different opinion.
Heck, I married a republican! Proof you can love someone and not agree with them, lol

So are you guys husbands republican fiscally or socially too? I feel like I could handle the money part, but I don't think I could marry someone who is socially republican. And by socially republican I mean against things like gay marriage/rights and abortion, a gung-ho member of the NRA, etc.
ETA: I think maybe I mean socially conservative and not socially Republican, but then I feel like they are the same thing these days?

Mine is a super uninformed republican. I don't think he understands everything associated with that title.

Lol okay I get that. My mom says she is republican then when you ask her specific questions she almost always answers close to how a democrat would.

I would think If someone is republican it's on all issues. I'm libertarian and so his my husband. We both side more republican than liberal by far though. I'm all for gay people getting married and all of that, but we have guns too. I don't like abortions, especially late term ones, but I don't think it's an all or nothing sort of thing. Unfortunately, there are many cases when abortion is needed in my opinion.

And for the record, I don't dislike anyone. There are people that I probably wouldn't be friends with IRL, but I don't not like them. (Double negative...sorry!)

My dad votes whatever way my mom tells him to and I think that's so weird. I tell my H what I think and what the real world outcomes would be if he voted a certian way. He never tells me how he votes. I never ask.
