I went home sick yesterday. I was totally nauseous and had the sweats. I thought I was getting sick. And then I came down with a RAGING headache so I did a little research and found out that my symptoms are all in line with withdrawl from sugar and carbs. Which makes sense because I was on day 3 of Whole30. I came to work today but am too embarrassed to tell people that my illness was probably self-induced.
I have a vein that goes east/west across the front of my knee instead of north/south. My trainer noticed it the other day and told me no one has that. How's that for random?

Sleep has been a raging bitch for the last 3 nights. "Oh, Dixie, you're tired? Here! Come to your comfy bed and go to sleep! HAHAHAHAHA! NO SLEEP FOR YOU BITCH!"
And I found out that people that I like at work are talking smack about me behind my back. However, I'm not special, they talk smack about errybody. And yet they wonder why morale is in the shitter.

I learned to never trust anyone who talks shit about others to me at work. I assume they are doing the same about me to others.
That's just it, they're not talking shit about others to me because of who I work with. But I've heard comments that were not meant for my ears, plus I'm not stupid and pick up on that shit.
It's making me glad to move offices so I can be away from those people.

I have 2 employees who do this. They just trash anyone who isn't in their little group of 2. I've called them out on it and they are all wide eyed and "what do you meannnnnnn?? I don't talk about anyoneeeeee!". Uh-huh.
Ugh, I hate that Bully. These women are super nice to your face, but will talk smack about anyone behind your back. But then they complain about how crappy the environment is and how stressful it is down there.
I suspected it, so I'm not surprised. Will adjust my behavior accordingly (e.g.: will be polite, help if needed, but won't go above and beyond).
I woke up on my own at 430am. I read in bed until my 6 am class. Since I got up so early I decided to get an everything bagel with garlic herb cream cheese. It was fantastic!

You are very special!
I know. I'm an inspiration to you and spindle92, right?
How the fuck do people actually study at caribou/starbucks? I came here to get a change of pace as I have a big exam tomorrow and I need to get some cramming in and there is just way to much activity going on to actually concentrate on what I am reading.

I am the same way. I got WAY too in to people watching to study.

Between the people coming and going, the workers talking loud and the too loud music I am like wtf?
More power to those who can tune this stuff out but I am not one of them.

I've only seen people study facebook at coffee shops. I remember trying so hard in college to study and over hearing someone's first date. "what's your major?, Do you live near X?" It was terrible.
I did a lot of studying at coffee shops for my licensing exams. I mutter what I'm reading under my breath to myself and it helps me retain it better. I sometimes plugged my ears for the really tough stuff.
In other words, I probably looked like a crazy person.
