This might be a stupid question, but do you just get your fish from the grocery store?
We never had fish growing up (that I remember) so I don't know how to buy fish. H loves fish and has been asking for it for weeks now but I've been to scared. I don't even know how to pick fish out...

Fresh fish should not have an overly fishy smell and should be firm (it should spring back under your finger after applying light pressure), not mushy. Whole fish should have wet gills and clear, not cloudy, eyes.
Fish is very easy to cook in a variety of ways. Check out the store's offerings and you can come back for recipes.

We get ours in the big frozen bags at costco. Not the best stuff but it isn't terrible.

I'm pretty sure that our store has fish, I've just never been brave enough to buy it. But, it doesn't sound hard. I'm such a wimp when it comes to cooking new food.

I have three squash dishes on this week, DH will get to pick which one. Either squash risotto with fried eggs on top, squash galette, or roasted zucchini tostadas.

Tell me more about the squash risotto with eggs. I have never heard of this but it sounds great. Just normal risotto with a fried egg?

I go through periods of not wanting any meat and I never took any out of the freezer for tonight for H. Fresh Corn on the Cob, rainbow chard, tomatoes and who knows what else
