DS is 4, almost 5. He's getting legos, a lego table that I'm making (thanks Ikea and pinterest!), Star Wars figures from Disney Store (Darth Vader, Storm Trooper, Han Solo and Chewy, maybe Boba Fett lol), a new talking Woody, and I don't know what else

DS just turned 6) has a December birthday, so he already got LEGO products galore for that one, and a few more in the closet for Christmas from grandma, etc. I did the Magnatiles deal, because I got him the Picasso tiles previously and he loves them but gets really frustrated with how easily his creations break apart. I'm hoping the MagnaTiles are stronger magnets. I was also on the fence about this sleeping bag, and then yesterday it was on sale with free shipping so I got it. From Pottery Barn Kids. I think there are a few more little things in the closet for him -- a wooden robot, that kind of thing. I have to dig in there and check! Oh, I also got the board game Trouble through the Amazon 50% off Mattel toys sale.
Gifts: - Lego clock (I've been wanting a clock in his room for ages!) - Bubble Guppies boardbook - cheapie 4 ft inflatable dinosaur (rainy/snowy days, he'll tackle it) - Green Toys airplane - small box of wooden Thomas track to add onto what he has - another train from the wooden Thomas line that I snagged during a buy 1 get 1 free deal months ago
Stocking: - a 2nd Smart Wheels car for his track (he has the train track, but the car was cheaper!) - "make your own pizza" sticker book ($1 on Amazon) - toothbrush?
Whenever he sees the Thomas the Train Avalange Escape set on TV, he freaks out. We walked past it in Costco a week or two ago, and again, he went crazy. I tossed it into the cart. DH has been wanting to get it for him, so I had some guilt. (I don't want it in our house as we already have a different Thomas line.) I'm hoping the ILs ask what to get him for Christmas, so I can say "the Thomas Avalanche Set", hand it over, and keep it at their house. The thing is HUGE.

10.5 months at Christmas: Stocking- a few Christmas cloth diapers, banana toothbrush, a couple small bath toys, small ball from my MommyCon bag, some little people cars, couple of pouches & puffs.
From us- his first converse, bath toy storage basket thing, a little play xylophone thing, play tunnel from ikea.
From Santa- I'm making a busy board/easel that he will LOVE, IKEA shape sorter, IKEA trucks, pop up shape piano thing.
From Santa: A Jumperoo and a baby jail. In his stocking he's getting the Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes, the banana toothbrush, spoons, and some pouches.
From us: Christmas PJs, bowls, puree storage cubes, a SleepSack, a playmat, The Polar Express book, and LeapFrog Scout. We are considering the crawl-around car as well. We're hesitant since he'll likely get too many toys from the grandparents.
My 5 year old granddaughter has an eclectic list: Puppy Surprise, princess snow globe, music player, Legos, and baby that pees. I'll help Santa and her mom, but I got her a big gift based on books she loves: a Màdeline doll house (used fr ebay) and the set of 7 eight inch dolls with the books. She adores Madeline and can recite the original book.
It was disassembled to ship, but it should look like this:
I also found an old Dept 56 Christmas decoration mini Madeline house and she plays with it like its a real dollhouse, so I think she will love her gift.
omg I'm thirtysomething but I want that Madeline house for Christmas. LOVE.

too much probably...
For the 3 yr old: A real Doctors kit with a working stethoscope, otoscope, arm sling, strip style thermometer, tongue depressors (that I will keep and dole out as needed), medic bag and magnifying glass. Possibly bandaids and gauze, but honestly those will end up peeled and stuck around the house within hours so...
A selection of books about the heart, digestive system, germs and other entertainment/non educational books
A big ABC puzzle
A train table (craigslist score) and some new thomas engines/transport cars and rail expansion set
Hello kitty stuff - 2 new outfits, a new pair of jammies, a robe and slippers, a clock, a water bottle, a 'hold and bounce' ball (the kind of rubber ball with a handle so you can bounce on it), and a new backyard rubber playground ball
Some new markers and some modeling clay
For the 2 month old, a couple sets of board books so she can chew her own books (her sister already ate most of her board books when she was a teething baby) and DD1's old baby toys... LOL she doesn't know it's Christmas so it's not a big deal.
I have a feeling that some of DD1's presents will be held back and given in Feb for her birthday...

thatgirl2478 My son is really into anatomy/science stuff. There's a "Human Body" app for the iPad that he loves...you can rearrange the bones of the skeleton, feed stuff into the digestive system and watch poop come out, etc.

DD1 has been into science and medicine ever since going with me for multiple doctor appointments when I was pregnant with DD2. The perinatologist we saw even let her sit on her lap and hold the sonogram wand while she ran it over my belly to look at DD2. She was SO disappointed that her plastic play stethoscope didn't work.
