Lake Geneva, WI recs?

We're trying to put together an October weekend here for my IL's birthdays. Any hotel or rental recs?

The one caveat is that ideally the accommodations would allow dogs so that ILs can bring theirs (They're obsessed ^o) )

I do't know if they accept dogs, but I liked the Abbey. I also highly recommend the mailboat tour of the lake - it was really interesting.

The Grand Geneva is the only hotel that I know of that is pet friendly. www.grandgeneva.com/accommodations/pet-program.asp It is not in the downtown area, but about a 5-10 min drive on the other side of the highway. It is a very nice hotel though. I'm sure you could also find a condo/home to rent thru VRBO.
