Do Sorel boots fit true to size?

I would say yes - true to size for length. They're very roomy in width. I do not have Uggs, so I can't compare there.

I think I got my Sorels in 7.5, 1/2 a size bigger than my Uggs. I like to wear warms socks with my Sorels, but not my Uggs.

I don't know about Uggs, but my Sorels are pretty big (my 7s feel more like a 7.5 or so).

I have the Joan of Arctics and they seem to run true to size in length but wide

Mine are giant -- I sized down.

My Joan of Arctics ran slightly big in length, I'm a 7.5 or 8 and the 7.5s are perfect, even with thick socks and yes, they are very wide. I love them though.

Mine are a half size too big. I wear a 9 1/2, but got a 10. I should have gotten a 9.

I think they didn't in the past, but they do now.

I find them to be more snug than Uggs. I wear a girls 3 in Uggs, and a 4 in Sorels.

Uggs in a 3 are roomy, and Sorels in a 4 have a snug fit with no spare room.

That's what I am trying to figure out, I have wide feet also.

I wear an 8 in Uggs but *usually* wear a 8.5 in most shoes.

Guess I will have to get my lazy bum over to the mall and try them on....I just was hoping to avoid it because they just put in a" Frozen" themed ice-palace thing for the holiday season and the crowds have been stupid busy.

OMG Ellie would LOVE that. She went to a birthday party yesterday and "Elsa" was there and she could not stop talking about it.
