I'm kind of worried about my H. UPDATE IN OP

I'm sure he's fine and I'm totally overreacting but I am a little anxious right now.

So he called last night, like he does every night. It was night for us but first thing in the morning for him (China). So he says he's going to the office for a couple of hours then he was going to be driven to Shanghai to get on the plane. So a few hours go by and I get a notification from AA that the flight will be 30 minutes late. Okay, no big deal.

So he's supposed to be here tonight at 5pm. I just googled and the trip is delayed 15 hours so this whole time I thought he was in the air, his flight hasn't even left yet. I have heard nothing from him, no email no phone call, nothing. I'm kind of worried, that is VERY unlike him. I'm wondering if he stayed in Shanghai for the night, maybe he can't communicate with me? Ugh.


eta: and it's weird that I didn't get a second notification from AA that the flight was actually delayed 15 hours. And I haven't heard from H? WTF is going on?


UPDATE- You guys were right. He's in route to LA right now then catching a flight from there. I can't believe she gave me that info over the phone. Phew!!

Do they have good wifi in the airport? I can't remember. H was just in Shanghai in May. I totally get the worry. I bet he is in the air on a different flight.

We were emailing back and forth the whole time he was gone but I believe it was linked to his office email? He has gmail so we had to work around that (can't use gmail in China). I did email him but haven't heard back. I'm wondering if it's because he's not in the office and might be stuck in Shanghai since his office is a couple hours from there.

Since being gone he has always called me. His office sent him a phone to use while in China. I tried to call him from the number he called me but it didn't work.

Well, it's weird. I guess H had the flight info saved somehow because all I googled was "flight stats" and his entire trip, with flight status came up WITH A PICTURE OF HIM, lol. That's how I found out it was delayed and even double checked with AA flight status.

I'm sure he's fine. I totally get the feelings you're having, though, because H does this to me sometimes when he's in Asia for work. He'll know it's the middle of the night for me so he "doesn't want to bug me" by calling or texting about the delay. I'm sure that's all that happened here too.

Wow, that's bizarre that his photo came up. I'm sure they just did a switcheroo and you'll hear something soon. Any chance his company would have more up to date information?
