I'm in the middle of that area and weather.gov is calling for rain/snow on Wednesday night into Thursday, but just a "chance" and Thursday's high is supposed to be in the low-mid 40s. So who knows? I really hope it doesn't snow though, we have to drive!
I will be driving by myself with kids on Wed and to Philadelphia and then back home on Thursday afternoon for the Thanksgiving parade. I will have very sad kids if we can't get up there or if they have to stand in the parade in rain/snow. They aren't allowed to wear anything except for the shirt/pants that are part of the uniform.

I'm near Baltimore. The Canadian model has us getting nothing with only rain to the south. The European model has us getting slammed. I think there's going to be a lot of hype the next couple days until it gets straightened out.
Other forecasts show rain Wednesday and mid-40s on TG, which is fine with me. If it does snow, fingers crossed that I'm not sitting home alone with a 20 lb turkey (thankfully no one is coming from too far!) We're doing a potluck so if I'm all alone I won't have all the trimmings, lol.
I'm no longer East Coast, but I don't think much is expected. They're predicting the same here, but it's less than an inch projected.
Buffalo has pretty much taken away anyone's right to complain about snow this winter (although I probably still will). I feel so bad for them.
I'd love to be in Buffalo.
I don't really care about driving in the snow. I have a mom who lost her dad in a tragic car accident during a snow storm (With a movie esk story to go with it). So even a snowflake and she freaks. Her anxiety is just beyond.
Six feet of snow is horrifying to me.
I just looked at weather.com and I think you'll probably be okay. The storm is going to be off the coast and I believe your temperatures are going to be high enough that you probably will just see rain. (IIRC, you're in the Mid Atlantic area? My dad and stepmom live in Annapolis and will be stoked if it is snow since they love to be drama queens about weather. According to them, we are going to be hunkering down now that we live in Chicago.
They keep waffling on the forecasts for us. I'm not going to worry until Tuesday. I don't think that have a good forecast this far out, so it could be nothing.
Also, I feel terrible for people in Buffalo. That much snow is insane and dangerous. Gives me nightmares.
My H is legit anxious as hell. Last winter wrecked one of our cars and our heating unit. We're supposed to move in March and are saving every penny so if something breaks down because of another crazy ice or snow storm we are fuuuuucked.
Ugh, I'm sorry. At least it didn't get bad until January last winter. Here's hoping?
I'm sitting here looking up cheap birthday cruises for March. Or Feb for our anniversary. I usually love winter but I think I may get tired of it. My joints and muscles are already killing me. My tolerance for it is way low this year and last
I'm headed to Mexico the week after New Year's. I have to get out.
I'm at the point right now where I'm not believing in weather forecasts at all - last Tuesday the Weather channel predicted 2-4cm overnight, I woke up to 25cm of snow. This isn't anywhere near what Buffalo had so hard to complain but still that's a big difference.

I'm assuming this is TIC? There are areas here in Buffalo right now that got 7 feet of snow in 2.5 days. It is currently 50 degrees today and raining, going to be 60 tomorrow. So in addition to the snow issues, we are all now under major flood warnings. They are anticipating a natural disaster designation. I'm pretty sure you don't actually want to be here right now.
We are in western MD and it looks like Wednesday is the bad day for us. We might hit 70 tomorrow though! I'm going to focus on that and not worry about the days after.

Do you follow justin berk on facebook too? I was just reading his talk about the models on there. LOL
Local weather says for us it should start Wed morning as rain and quickly change over to snow. Calling for somewhere between 3 - 5". We're hoping to head out of town Wed afternoon. Now I'm just hoping the state highways get treated/plowed, or its going to be an even longer trip home.
