My Turkey Trot starts at 9, I just got here. It is chilly!! Quick 5 miles then back home until we have to be at my SIL's. I'm going to take it somewhat easy today because I'm running a Turkey Trot half marathon on Saturday that I really want to do well in!
It's DS 2's birthday, and according to H he was awake shortly past midnight. We're currently waiting for my mom to wake up before opening presents, and that's going about as well as you'd imagine. Naps for everyone before the feast!
I slept until 7:45, it was amazing. Everyone else was still asleep, so I was able to paint my nails and drink coffee in peace. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for my family yesterday, so I'm off the hook for cooking today. All I'm in charge of is pumpkin pie, which meant buying 2 from Publix (they make them way better than I ever could). We'll go over to SIL's house later. My Tervis may or may not be filled with a strong drink when we leave our house.
DH is still asleep. I kind of want to cuddle, but I know I won't last long before squirming and getting up and it feels mean to wake him up for that.
I need to go downstairs and make cranberry sauce to take with us to the grandparents. We're leaving in two hours and it takes just over an hour to cook.
