I'm having a mini golf birthday party for my son's 6th. We are renting the place after-hours so it's private. So we will have about 30 six year olds that will start playing at the same time -- too much of a bottleneck. Do I have them split into teams and each start on a different hole? Do 6 year olds need to keep score? Need help figuring out how to run this... (or should I just let them have at it with no direction?)
Well, I have kids and I play golf, so I'm going to answer, anyway. :-)
I would probably split them into groups of three or four (depending on how many adults you have to supervise/help), and start them on different holes, like a shotgun start in "real" golf. If you have an adult with each group, I would probably attempt to keep score. If you don't, I wouldn't worry about it. Sounds like fun!
