I paint and I have recently begun to teach myself calligraphy which I hope I can turn into a side job and address wedding invitations and things like that.
There was a fairly recent thread on here about this topic. I remember it because it turned me on to a new hobby - adult coloring books!
Aside from that......some others of mine are crochet, photography, running and boot camp!
My thread! *puffs up chest*
I can't remember who told us about Mandalas, but I was inspired to try it too. It's fun and therapeutic.
I dabble in lots of crafty things but I wouldn't call myself an expert in anything. I do crochet, paint, photography, sew, and buy yarn I have no intention of using anytime soon.
I don't have kids but my friends who do still play field hockey with me (while their husbands watch the kids). I also love photography (do at least a photo a day) and cooking (love to be creative).
No kids so more time for hobbies. Photography, jewelry making, refinishing furniture, sewing a bit, baking are some things that get done regularly in my house. Oh, and sometimes some video games on the console (not just Candy Crush and Simpsons Tapped Out )

The only hobby I do consistently is bake. I sew or crochet for gifts, and enjoy doing it, but I don't run to my sewing machine every chance I get, kwim? Before kids, I painted (acrylics or watercolor). I hope to start up again soon.
I knit and am teaching myself to crochet, but generally suck at it. Knitting and such are good ways to meet people; go to a class and meet people, or look for groups at cafes, etc.
I bought myself a ukulele and I'm trying to teach myself to play it. Ditto a piano, but it's taking up way too much space and I"m getting ready to get rid of it.
I'm trying to learn how to sew, and would put myself in 'advanced beginner' territory.
I take a lot of pictures. Lately, most are for the PTA website for DD's school. A friend is the webmaster, so we've kind of become the media team. It's fun; it feels like I can do a good thing for the school without having to give up my introverted self.
I love to read, but haven't had the chance lately. Getting a Kindle for Christmas, so I'm hoping that'll change.
I watch way too much geeky TV. Netflix binge watching is an acceptable hobby, right?
got this book the other day. Maybe I'll do one today.
We like watching movie commentaries, bicycling, going on in-state road trips, camping, reading, taking the light rail downtown for dinner/dessert, and video games. For myself, I do all of that plus social media forays and graphic design. Plus I've been getting more interested in make-up and returning to karaoke periodically.
Reading, cooking, reading, gardening (both edible and otherwise), reading about gardening, drinking & collecting wine.
I used to cross stitch a LOT before the kids. Like make my own designs level of stitching. Now not so much. I'd like to get back to it but can't figure out when/how.
I also like reading about European royals, but that hasn't really gone anywhere in terms of a hobby. Pretty much just discussions on here, plus a Pinterest board and reading other people's blogs and Twitter feeds. I have NO interest in trying to spot them when the come to New York City, though.
I also like The Simpsons, and there's a monthly Simpsons trivia event that I try to attend when I can (tonight, actually!). It's in Brooklyn so it's a PITA to get there, though, and I only go a few times a year. I've dabbled with the idea of starting one in New Jersey but I haven't yet done the legwork to get it off the ground. It's pretty much just finding a bar with video screens that's willing to host it.
MH is into basic woodworking and carpentry. He also likes craft beer - he collects glassware, buys bottles from stores (both local and on our travels) and trades bottles with other people on his beer message boards, and he does a homebrew once or twice a year.
We do some of these things with each other - MH sometimes helps me cook/bake something and he comes to the trivia event with me, and I'll lend a hand with brewing or carpentry if he asks for help - but for the most part they're solo things.

Mine are mtn biking, skiing, saying I'm going to work out at the gym and then not doing it, hiking, camping, reading, cooking (but not baking - unless it's Artisan bread in 5-min a day), and like orangeblossom, playing on the internet.
Oh and I have interests in working on our house and doing a lot of DIY house projects, but we NEVER finish them b/c we do too much of the other stuff and have 3 young kids.

My main hobby is knitting. I occasionally cheat with crochet, embroidery and more recently sewing, though I'm terrible at them. Then there's the stuff I do just to see if I can. Like canning and chocolate making. I also like making pies and cookies, but I do that less often because then I eat pies and cookies.

Whenever anyone talks about hobbies I realize that I really like sitting. Pretty much everything I do with my spare time involves sitting... reading, writing, marathoning TV shows, scrapbooking, anything on the internet, etc.
I love reading and am part of a book club I volunteer a LOT with my sorority I enjoy cooking I sort of like exercise- running when it is warm and light out in the mornings, hiking, lifting weights, and there's this yoga class I really love as well but I haven't done any of this yet since DD was born DH and I both love travel, we met while traveling. We used to do a lot more international travel but with the kids, we do a lot of long road trips and camping trips DH and I also used to love going to the movies and we'd see basically every single movie, but now we just netflix binge together after the kids are in bed Sewing, painting, decorating, shopping are also things I enjoy but don't do very much since the kids were born
Edit: Oh, once I have more time- maybe when the kids are all in school, I am going to try taking some of those free online classes! You might look into that if you are into that kind of thing. They have them on every imaginable topic.
