Secondly, I'm tired of the Little Drummer Boy. A child shivers in the cold so I know what we'll do, we're bring him bricks of metals that hold cold instead of idk, blankets or something. I hate that song.
This is Do You Hear What I Hear, right? I just mentioned I love Little Drummer Boy in a ML thread, I felt I needed to defend my song lol.
I just stick to the classics. My favorite is still "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas." If I hear some new version of "Santa Baby" crooned out one more time, I'll lose it.
What's that one by Don Henley or some old dude which is played at Christmas strictly because it mentions snow? It's all about him meeting an old flame or something? HATE IT
I can tolerate very little Christmas music but I swear Karen Carpenter makes me stop in my tracks when I hear her voice.
Karen Carpenter is one of my vocal idols. I love her voice so, so much.
I can't believe this texting song is real :/
I also agree with the hate of albums of children singing. With very few exceptions, the sound of children singing in mass is murder on my ears at all times, not just the holidays.
"Simply Having a Wonderful Chrismastime" makes my head hurt.
I hate that song. I'm not even sure why. I just do.
I also heard the whitest version of All I Want for Christmas like ever. I don't even know who did it. I'm just traumatized. Imagine Jewel or Allison Krauss. And I love Allison but just no.
