Another one who thinks it's a good idea to call the police. It's very odd that the people you called didn't know who he was and that he checked in with another name. I would be scared his phone and truck were stolen.
Yeah, hadn't thought of that. I just assumed the people saying they didn't know him were just covering for him, but if they truly don't know him, I would likely contact the police. I wonder if motel worker could give you any info on who is in there or a description of who came in the truck? I'm worried for you now, before I was mad for you.
Phone and truck could be stolen, that is a possibility.
But honestly, I was like kevin arnold and let my ex get away with this type of behavior multiple times. If I had called some of the people he was talking to, they have denied knowing him or hearing from him or anything. They knew to cover his story, and he wouldn't have checked into a motel under his own name. I'm not saying her H is a shady bastard like he was, but the callers denyjng/his name not at the hotel isn't necessarily signs that it isn't him. :/ there really isn't an amazing explanation for what has happened tonight, and I hope you know you are justified in feeling the way that you do. Don't let this continue. I'm so sorry he's doing this to you.
I am officially freaked out worried about you thinking of all the details. I somehow missed the part about the people you called denying they know him. Something is fucking rotten here. Please let us know you are ok. Please call the police.
I would call the police ASAP. What will you do if someone comes out that is not your H? Follow them? The whole situation could be very unsafe for you. Please be careful.
Maybe show a pic to the hotel worker and see if he recognizes him? Also did you get a hold of the last person he was with? Please please call the police and be safe.
Please call the police and tell them what is going on. If the truck was stolen, they'll need to handle the situation. And they'll be able to start looking for your H.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

This happened to me pre-cell phone days (lol, no joke. It was over 10 years ago and he and many of his friends still didn't have mobile phones at the time) but there was always someone covering for him and many people (some of them with good intentions for me) offering explanations about what they thought could be going on. Unfortunately he was never actually injured and lost somewhere remote waiting for rescue.
This is where I'm at too. Maybe I'm jaded from personal experience. My ex once disappeared in a similar way and I found his car at a friends house. I called the friend FROM THE DRIVEWAY to see if he knew where my ex was (because ex's phone was turned off). He claimed to have no idea, hadn't talk to him in a couple days. Pfft.
Wait a minute. The people she called said they had not seen her H. They never said they didn't know him at all. She said "I've called the numbers that I don't recognize. Those people claim to have not seen him."
I really doubt someone stole his truck and phone, and called his friends. It's much more likely that the friends are covering for him.

Call the police. Too much can be going on to assume anything. I'm hoping he is just an idiot and didn't call to let you know he was staying at the hotel because he drank to much or was too tired to drive...
