We had planned to go skiing in Switzerland for our fifth anniversary early in the new year, but I don't think H's work schedule will allow it.
It looks like we will blow our travel budget on family weddings this year anyway - I have four cousins who are engaged, two with wedding dates set that will require road trips or airfare and several hotel nights. The other two have not announced dates, but I'm sure at least one will be this year too.
I'm still in my carpe diem travel mode - using every work & school break to inch closer to insolvency.
For sure: Thailand, in the spring, US in July, Hong Kong in the fall Still figuring out when: Bali, New Zealand (maybe other stuff if we stay 2 weeks), Guam if I can get it together for February.
Have some business trips in to SoCal in Feb and March and Florida in January, thinking about a quick trip to New Orleans between now and then. No idea what I will do in the summer, maybe I'll find someone to go on the Amtrac Coast Starlight wine tour this year.
The big I'm planning on for 2016 is two weeks in Barcelona - so I'm taking as many business/pleasure trips as possible until then so I can hoard miles.
Going to Puerto Vallarta for a week over New Years. Florida for a few weeks in Feb and maybe again in March. Possibly Vegas in April as a belated 30th bday celebration.
Niagara on the lake in July. Still have to pick our second trip next summer / waffling between a med cruise that does Croatia and Greece; Spain or Bali.
Next fall I am hoping to go to NYC with my sister. And maybe sneak a trip to Hawaii with DH.
y'all are making me feel really REALLY lame. these trips sound amazing.
We'll do at least a half dozen camping trips (short ones, 3 nights or so) during next summer, and at least one longer one (a week or more) to Mt. Rainier or Olympic NP. We're trying to get it together to do Disney California. That's a maybe in the next year.

Nothing. We were going to take a short vacation somewhere in the state in the fall, but DH got a new job, starting the day our vacay was supposed to start. So, we're going to be staying home the new week off and playing tourist in our city. And probably going to see The Hobbit.
