Congratulations!!!! How exciting for you. I wish you the best and a happy and healthy pregnancy! I know you have been wanting this for so long, so I truly wish you the best.
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!! So so so excited for you! Goodbye needles. Happy absolutely uneventful pregnancy! I hope the rest is a breeze. How are you feeling?
Help me do the math.... so how far along are you? Tell us more please.
I'm 11 weeks today. Originally they were thinking I would cycle in the July/August timeframe, but my doctor was leaving the practice so I was able to push it up a few months, so that I could do my transfer under his care - which means I got to do injections in strange places - like an airplane bathroom. I started meds mid-April and we transferred early June.
It's been a crazy couple of months, I have what's known as a SCH (a tear between the placenta and uterus) so I've had my fair share of bleeding, some quite heavy. To say I've been guarded about this pregnancy is an understatement.
As of my u/s last week the tear is almost completly fused, and the heartbeat is nice and strong. We were able to see arms and legs waving around for the first time, and I was crying and laughing at the same time. That ultrasound made it feel "real" for us; I think because it actually looked like a baby, and not just a blob with a flicker in the middle.
Anyway, we're very excited. We finally told our parents and siblings last week and will be telling extended family over the next couple of weeks.
Oh Heather, I'm so happy for you, and especially that you are finally able to start feeling happy and excited about your pregnancy. Bleeding is the worst thing in the world to a pregnant woman, and it's so completely unfair that you had to have so much of it -- even if it was "OK" bleeding. That's just messed up.
Enjoy telling the rest of your family, and I hope the rest of your pregnancy is completely, perfectly uneventful.
Heather, I am SOOO happy for you! I totally cried when I read your post, from one IF to another, congrats! It's just such an emotional journey, enjoy every second of it! Sorry to hear about the SCH I'm sure that scared the crap out of you. I know I was a nervous nelly with every little twinge/spot I had. I truly wish you a very uneventful rest of your pregnancy, you deserve it! Please keep us posted on all your pregnancy happenings!

ETA: Where are you going for the NT scan?
At my OB's office. There's 9 of them in the practice (going to be 11 at the end of August) so they have all the equipment "in house".
