Jamaica cruise stop?

Yes, I've tried cruise critic. But I'm asking about something that's not in the 5 excursions that everyone does there

Has anyone ever been to Turtle River Falls (formerally Enchanted Gardens)? turtleriverfallsandgardens.com/home It looks really awesome! And hopefully less crowded than Dunn River Falls.

So we are docking in Ocho Rios. If just hoping a cab there and back the best bet?

I can't help with that, but we walked from the port to Dunn River and walked up it on our own. It was crowded, but not obnoxiously so since we weren't in a group. This was my parents and me, so not just young 20 somethings.

We would have been happy to walk back, too, but my crazy Bahamian uncle somehow got a party bus for him and his family (of only 4) for the day, and they saw us walking back and picked us up. I guess it's good to have family from the Caribbean. They make friends at every island

If you don't want to do Dunn, though, most of the Caribbean ports are really easy to get a cab to/from wherever you want to go. I never do ship tours. We even had a cabbie (in St Kitts IIRC) drop us, promise to pick us up later, and then send his friend because he had to get his daughter from school early since she was sick. If you're really concerned, rent your own car. We've done that in many ports.
