If you won a dream trip to the destination of your choice, where would you go?
Probably Tahiti/Bora Bora, it's always been a place I want to go but it's expensive so not really on the top of our list. I'd definitely get one of those overwater bungalows.
What's been your favorite new experience living in Washington DC?
Broad answer but just being in a city and having so much accessible...lots to do, places to eat, etc. I can take the bus to get around. I can also walk a lot of places.
Let's say you've been captured by terrorists and they force you to choose between cheering for Alabama or Florida and losing your allegiance to UT. What team do you choose?

I don't know. I mean they're doing fine, but I think after living at my parents' for a while and having so much space, they kind of look around here like "is this really it?" and it makes me feel bad. I feel there's not as much space for them to be active which was a concern also in our last place in TX. DH thinks I'm worrying for no reason and he's probably right. This place isn't a shoebox and they've lived in apartments before and been fine.
We bought them a new bed and a new toy after we got here and the older cat likes both which makes me happy because she's usually the grumpy one!
Do you have any more baseball stadium trips planned? Like maybe Target Field? Which one do you really want to go to that you haven't been to yet?
Haha! I do hope to get to Target Field at some point but I have no idea when!
Nothing planned, I assume our next one will be Nationals Park just because we are close I went when they played at RFK Stadium years back but haven't been to the new one. We've also talked about trying to go to Milwaukee sometime when we're in Chicago so maybe this summer since I assume we'll visit at some point.
I'd love to do a San Fran/Oakland trip sometime (in general, but also to go to the ballparks)
There's none left that I'm dying to see. Honestly I'm excited about being close to Baltimore because I love Camden Yards so I can't wait to go to some games there!
I love Camden Yards too! It's the only other stadium I've been to actually. I want to take H sometime even though he's not as into baseball, haha. I really want to bring him to Maryland to have a real crab cake Someday..
ETA: Interesting fact about Camden Yards.. my mom has a lot of family in MD and my dad is from Camden, NJ. I always thought that was weird

HoneySpider I hope to get out there soon! I haven't been out there for years, and I really want to show H all the places I love going! I know H really wants to see DC too. Maybe one year when my parents go out there we will save up and go with them!
If you had a full weekend with you and your H to do whatever you wanted, no limitations, what would you do?
Well, since we would have a private plane to take us where we wanted to go, I imagine we would take in a sporting event or 2 (depends what time of year and what sports are going on), a few nice meals, and stay at a posh hotel with a hot tub in the room. Nothing crazy, but fun & relaxing.
What was your favorite thing about where you grew up?
There were so many kids on our block! We always played outside and it was so much fun. Sports, riding bikes, playing cards, making bead jewelry, dancing, roller skating, all kinds of stuff. We were really active.

A few years back when DH and I were engaged but having a hard time we did a night out in the city. We went to a show and then walked back to the hotel where DH had got us a room with a big hot tub in the room. We got in, had some wine, and it really was so amazing. A perfect way for us to reconnect.
