I thought we'd make a thread of all the crafts we do with the toddlers, cute things daycare sends home or whatever! Post them here so it's all together. @smudgee or @therealmc can we pin this for a bit?
Not a holiday craft really, but we tried potato printing today. Used fingerprint instead of regular on accident, so results weren't quite as vibrant. We'll try again later with the right paint :-)
We made this fall tree last night and I put it on a shelf. I painted the tree and Lily did the leaves with a Q-tip. I tried to hide a heart in the branches. She had fun! Sorry about the shadow.
This is definitely not holiday themed, but some of you wanted to see the handprint animals I'm making... so here's the link to the facebook album so I can just update there. The album is public so even if you don't have a FB you should be able to see it

We did salt dough ornaments as gifts for great grandparents and grandparents. The painted stars have their fingerprints in them. They need to be sealed still, but I want to outline the handprints and fix their names on them first- they got paint in them so you can't read them.
The brown ones on the left are cinnamon scented and stamped salt dough. They will be gift tags.
So these are coffee filters. They colored on them with markers and then we sprayed water on it to get the tie dye look. Then I just taped an apple template I cut out over it, and put contact paper on it.
Coffee mate creamer bottle, glitter glue, Googly eyes and cotton balls. J has been emptying and refilling this snowman for 15 minutes. It's a good fine motor skill activity.
Lily and made a cookie plate at a paint your own pottery place. I painted it with glaze and she did the handprints. Then they fired it for us. If you have a place like this it's fun to make gifts too. We are going to use it for Santa cookies but I made it so we could also use it all year.
Stole a page from the ceramic plates and made my own! Going to bake in the oven and then also seal with a spray on sealant. This one is a gift for my MIL and will also make a Christmas themed one for my mom. Just takes a while with coordinating three.
I made this today and Sydney loves it! It's just craft foam. She paints water on the pieces and they stick to the door! She puts it up, takes it down, and puts it back up again! Hours of entertainment!

Not really a craft but I found these magnets at the dollar tree this morning so if your not crafty like steph196 or just lazy like me plus they are only $1 Attachment Deleted
H's cousin came up with a cute craft for L. It's an xmas one but can be adjusted. She bought some foam stickers and cut various shapes out of felt. L had fun placing stickers on the shapes to make ornaments. Or I may string them together to make a banner/garland.
Is everyone familiar with Toddler Approved? I signed up to get a newsletter everyday in Dec via email that gives a holiday themed craft you can do with your kid.
