14,000+ as of 2010. that is honestly way higher than i expected. i think it's due to all of the multi-family homes in the town though. our actual town is so small.

Where I work (a.k.a. "the Big City"): 450,000 as of 2013 (really. There's not a lot of people that live in the ATL proper)
Metro area = 5.5 million. The incorporated area is vast. This is why ATL traffic sucks so bad. Everyday ~5 million people drive in to the city, then back out.
OK, not EVERYone works in the city, BUT IT SURE SEEMS LIKE IT.
