We live in the suburbs about 20 minutes from a large city. Our town is quickly growing. In 2000 the population was about 3,000 and now it is close to 30,000. It feels tiny to me since I grew up in the city. I see people I know everywhere here.
Around 73,000. I'm in an unincorporated area outside of a major metropolitan area. The county provides all of our services and schools, etc. I'm actually closer to another town than the "downtown" of my area. That town has 2,000 people.

Around 65k I think. Don't let that number fool you though, it's the biggest city in about a 40-50 mile radius. Very small town feel around here. And I think part of that population is college students, haha. The city I grew up in was around the same population but it's a suburb of the Twin Cities, so much different!
