So I was reading through all the stuff on the website and it says to eat 3 meals and to enough at each meal so that you aren't hungry in between.
The idea of not snacking is foreign to me. I feel like I'm going to starve. I know there is a pre and post work out mini-meal, which I will definitely do. But what about days I don't work out? Nothing in between?
If you are hungry (actually physiologically hungry, not bored or whatever) you should eat. That "snack" should be a smaller version of a meal with proton, fat, and veggies. It is best not to make a piece of fruit or larabar or something like that a snack unless it's an emergency. Follow the meal template for snacks.
I find that most people need to rely on "snacks" at the beginning and then slowly move towards eating three meals as the progress.
Autocorrect is killing it lately. Eat your proton, mrshandy!

Thanks! I definitely think that some of my snacking is boredom. Any tips for distinguishing between the two?

Think of a pretty plain meal. Something like fish and steamed broccoli (or whatever plain means to you). If you are hungry enough to eat that, you're probably legitimately hungry. If you are thinking "no but I'm hungry for chocolate" then you're probably bored/having a craving.
Also just having cut up raw veggies on hand can be helpful. Sometimes I get the bored munchies and a stick or two of celery staves me off. If I'm genuinely hungry I add some raw almonds or almond butter.
