My face cleared up significantly throughout my divorce. It was awful before I left xh. I contribute that to the ridiculous amount of stress I was under and the relief I felt after leaving. I haven't had a breakout of significance in a year. But I do have issues with smaller blackheads rather than the huge red pimples I used to have. In addition to that I have some and acne scarring that if love to see fade.
So I guess, in short, I'm no help, but would love some recommendations. As it is, I use a medicated apricot scrub in the shower and use a BB cream instead of foundation. But that's really the extent of my skin care routine. I'm awful.
I'm just an occasional lurker here but I wanted to say I've had really good luck with Origins stuff. I saw a girl at the counter in Macys and she gave me samples that were enough for about 2 weeks and of course I went back and bought all of it, but by then I knew my skin liked it. Only issues I seem to have now are when I get to the end of my nighttime moisturizer i start to breakout, not quite sure why. Other than that, I love it.
Good luck, it took me forever to find something decent as I mostly used drugstore brands and it was hit and miss. It's nice to have found something that works even if it costs a bit more.
I use a Neutrogena anti acne grapefruit scrub to wash and moisturize with an oil free Nuetrogena facial lotion that has SPF. I also use an oil of olay eye cream.
starrieskies check out Paula's Choice BHA products. I love the 2% BHA gel for keeping my skin clear, even when I fall asleep in my makeup. Once you get the sample, stop using the scrub (I really want you to stop now). What is the scrub medicated with?
captainmel the only antibacterial that PC has is benzoyl peroxide. I remember when I went off birth control I got cystic pimples and clindamycin was amazing for them. I wish it weren't so expensive for you though!
doglove you'll probably be surprised by the changes to your skin when you start treating it gently.

tiramisu is just a drugstore scrub. St Ives or something. I think it has salicylic acid... I also do not wash my face before bed. I'll check out the PC products. It's time for me to take care of my face like an adult.

I just went through my drawer and I have a handful of samples that I am not going to be using since I've found the products that work for me. They are up for grabs if anyone wants them. It's a little bit of everything from cleansers, moisturizers, toners, and treatments.

My skin is extremely sensitive. I feel like I never know what will set it off. Lately I've been doing pretty well with Eucerin Redness Relief face wash and night cream and Aveeno Ultra-Calming daily Lotion.
I'm trying Clinique Redness Solutions face wash/lotion right now and it's working pretty well.
I've been wanting to try Paula's Choice for a while now. Where do y'all order samples?
Besides, I only rag on you when you don't listen to me. Lol.
I almost asked you about this when I saw you, but I didn't. My skin is actually much improved since I started using gentler cleanser. And injecting myself with hormones, oddly enough. I won't recommend that, though.
tiramisu, that is what I use it for! The cystic pimples I get along my chin are insane and they hurt so bad! I'll chat with someone from PC today and see if they have any ideas.

huh...I'd never thought about the relationships between astrological signs. I'm an Aries and H is a Scorpio. I'd say this is pretty accurate except I'm introverted and withdrawn and H is extroverted and open.
