I finished my progesterone and estrogen injections last Thursday, and while my backside is happy for this, I'm a bit nervous. I know that I'm at a point that the placenta has taken over the duties that the injections were helping out with, but part of me is terrified I stopped a week too early and the baby needed a little additional supplementation. I know I have to trust my doctors, but it's hard after all it's taken to get to this point.
I have my NT scan on Friday, so hopefully that will alleviate my concerns about stopping injections.
Amelia is officially a drama queen. She has a new fake cough. At first when she did it we all fawned over her to make sure she wasn't sick, and I think she realized it gets her a reaction and now she's milking it for everything. I'm ready for a new sound that is not quite so pathetic.

Heather - I <3 your new ticker, too!
Sara - That is only the beginning. Wait until she purposefully starts choking on liquids. Lila drives me crazy with that.
We are on day 3 of Lila without her pacifiers. It went a lot easier than I expected. There was absolutely no crying involved, whatsoever. I will miss her baby paci-face.
Lila is in her crib right now screaming for joy, at the top of her lungs. This is my life now. lol. She's getting very vocal. My alarm clock these days is "Mama, Mama, Mama, Mama", as loud as she can possibly say it. I wake up smiling every morning, I don't think that I will ever get tired of hearing it.
I ordered Lila her big girl potty (the Baby Bjorn) and it should arrive today. I think I am going to give this potty training thing a shot. I had a friend over whose son was born the day after Lila and he is 90% potty trained. I know they are all ready at their own time but I think its time to start trying.
Nothing exciting to report. Unisom is my hero. I seriously feel so much better since the doc gave me an official ok to take it, even though I read everywhere that it was a known aid for m/s.

33 weeks today, although I kinda thought I was 34. I had to look at my ticker to check. Something tells me I'm going to be very late getting this girl out. She seems very content in my belly, though she LOVES to stretch and kick.
She has been head down for a few weeks now, and the midwives tell me her head is way down there. She does like to switch sides though as sometimes I have feet kicking my ribs on the left side and other times on the right.
After two weeks of traveling, I'm happy to be at home and back into my routine. I spent Saturday spending giftcards from the shower and getting the essentials that we don't have yet. The most exciting thing I got --- a Best Chairs Tryp glider/recliner in Cloud. I also got the ottoman. Apparently I didn't realize it reclined. Oh well.
AW: 32 week photo take last Sunday in the bathroom of some Rhode Island restaurant.... ah... it was heavenly to need a sweater! oh and since I'm on the AW train, I have to say that I ran while on vacation. I thought those days were over, but being on a family vacation, I needed the stress reliver. Those miles never felt so good.
Moon - are you done with traveling? I had asked my OB, because I go through spurts of traveling a lot for work and he told me no more flying after 32 weeks ...
by the way, that chair looks so comfy and still stylish. Nice choice!

First of all, I would like to say that I am extremely happy that I am no longer at the bottom of PG list ;D, I'm in the middle!!
Nothing changed here although I'm getting frustrated that I'm almost 18 weeks and still not showing. My belly is getting harder but for people that know I'm preggo, especially people at work, they look at me weird. The look is "I know you're pregnant, but where's the belly??". I have to say though, I did have a little belly before, so maybe that's why I have no bump yet...I'm not even wearing maternity pants yet...which I guess is a great thing!!

28 weeks! Failed my 1 hour GD test. Going to take the 3 hour one on Wednesday. I hope I pass... I don't need to deal with anything else. I am just thankful for every week this baby is cooking.

Yes, I'm done with traveling. My midwife will allow me to fly until 35 weeks though. My recent trips weren't so bad as they were short segments and we got upgraded (except for one segment). When I flew to San Francisco at 27 weeks, I only got upgraded on the way out, and I actually paid for first class on the way home. It was horrible despite the extra room (and was a red-eye to make matters worse).
Mia got her second batch of cooties from daycare Thursday. The poor thing was just full of snot and had a cough. Thankfully her cough is better and so her congestion. She was kind enough to share w/H and I, it's been a fun weekend. Luckily, even when she's sick she's still a happy baby, that helps!
Tuesday I took her to the Pediatrician for some strange poops, sorry if TMI...a bit slimy/mucousy. They found some blood in her stool, and had me give them two more samples from home. She might have a milk protein allergy so she is now on Nutramigen formula...ridiculously expensive and smells like crap. Anyone have any experience with any of this?

I know how you are feeling. I seriously almost kept taking them since I still had some at home. H talked me down and all was well. Good luck on Friday! Can't wait to hear how it goes!

You look AMAZING!! You make me feel like a total slacker with your running while pregnant! I'm supposed to do a 5k on the 26th and ask me how many times I've ran since I had Mia?? Umm, twice...I'm pretty sure I'm going to die.

Exercise is my therapy. I honestly need it daily to keep my stress levels under control. It sucks at times when I'm exhausted but I never regret it when I'm done.
Good luck with your 5k. Maybe you can run/walk it if you aren't ready for all 3.1 miles.

Oh, yes. Yes we did. Both the twins were on Nutrimagen from 4 months on. Luckily, they seemed to have grwon out of the soy allergy. I was a SAHM, so I ended up on WIC to afford the formula.
Zoe is quite a little water bug! She loves swimming and going to splash pads. I love her smiles and shrieks of joy! Sometimes I wonder how I will ever have room to love another child, but people do it all the time so it must be possible! Just one of my (many) irrational fears.
Pregnancy wise, I am feeling pretty good. Symptoms come and go. I burp a lot, am really tired, have stretchy pains (again more on the right side than the left), am starving all the time, am bloated, and my ute already feels like it weighs a ton. Oh, and I have some low back/pelvic/hip pain here and there already. I have a feeling this pregnancy will be harder, especially with chasing a toddler around! H was definitely shocked at first but he is excited now. I am just hoping for a healthy 9 months. This pregnancy crap is nervewracking!
Nothing much new with me. Had a checkup with the OB on Friday. Nothing much new although it was stated that baby boy seems to be big and therefore as we get further along we might be faced with an induction between 39-40 weeks. I'm currently at 34 weeks. I have my last perinatal appt on Wednesday, so the OB is waiting to hear how that goes and what they might recommend.
Other than that, I just keep working on getting the baby's room ready to go. We have our second shower this weekend, so hopefully we will receive some of the items we are still needing. For the most part though, we are all set. I'm ready to have our baby and am just so excited to meet him!

I knew I was being silly, but I was so worried about this too. How could I ever possibly love another baby as much as I love Beckett? Then when I had Maisy and was bowled over by my love for her, I realized you just do. There's a whole lot of room in the heart when it comes to a mama and her babies.

Thanks for the response! What were the twins symptoms if you don't mind me asking. Mia never had a reflux/puking problem(just gas and strange poop) and it seems like from what I've read that was the predominant reason people were switched to that.

Blake is about 2 1/2 months and when we went to the doctor for his 2 month checkup he weighed 10 lbs 5 oz. He also grew almost 2 inches, so he is prob about 23 inches now. He was moving up in his weight percentiles and the doctor was very happy with that because I'm exclusively bf'ing and if he didn't gain more weight we were going to have to start supplementing. It's not a big deal and we may start that soon anyway but it was good to know he was doing well. He's such a sweetheart and everyone tells us he is a good baby. He rarely cries and when he does, he is easy to calm. I took him in a pool the other day for the first time and he was so content..he's def a water baby, he loves the bath too. I think it's because I was swimming multiple times a week until I had him. H loves to take him out for boys outings or just hang with him at home, so I get lots of breaks which is nice since being a SAHM is very different for me (I've worked TWO jobs for the past 8 years..). So basically everything is going really well and we are so grateful.
Madeline is now two weeks already! I can't even believe it. She eats like a mad woman. Since I wasn't able to breast feed with MacKenzie, this is all very new to me. But I am really enjoying it! I have a huge milk supply and pump a ton to keep up! My stash for when I go back to work is already huge! My H gives her one bottle a day and has had no problems with nipple confusion!
MacKenzie loves her Baby Lion. She still stays away for the most part, but I do catch her standing next to her RnP often admiring her and gently patting her head. I also find random things resting on top of her often too (the other day it was a package of ritz crackers and today it was a baseball cap) so I will have to watch that.
We are struggling with this whole potty training thing. MacKenzie has no desire to do it and she starts preschool in a few weeks. They don't require her to be potty trained, but I have to pay more and provide them with a ridiculous amount of things to keep her clean at pre-school for only three mornings a week. So any suggestions would be fabulous!
Ellie is 4 months old now and at her check-up this morning she weighed in at 14 lb 10 oz and 26 in. She's getting so big!
We just finished a marathon 2 weeks of travel with her - first flight to FL and then a road trip to Cleveland as soon as we got back to NY. Overall she did amazingly well with all that, meeting so many new people, etc. She did flat-out refuse to nap the whole time we were in Cleveland so she was pretty grumpy by the end, but our first day back she napped for 5 hours! Poor tired baby!
I don't know if we've hit the 4 month wakeful period or what, but since we've been back it has been a battle to get her to sleep at night (unlike ever before) and she keeps waking herself up early in the mornings by rolling over. She seems to like sleeping on her side now but then she will inevitably roll the rest of the way over onto her tummy and that wakes her up fully, and it's hard to get her back down. Hopefully this passes soon!

Looks like I'm next! Eep! At my last appointment they were concerned that my baby is large and my swelling is out of control. I'm now up to weekly appointments so I will find out more this Monday. They were going to do another ultrasound to check and make sure he's breathing on his own... they were already talking about induction. I'm not sure how I feel one way or another. I know it's better to not be induced but they say with my swelling, the trace protein in my urine... that I'm a headache away from possibly having preclamsia? I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. I'm hoping I get to hold out until the end of the month. I've gained a whopping 50 pounds this pregnancy so I'm certainly large and uncomfortable in this heat.
