I'm going on DAY 5 with NO SOAP. I also haven't used heat to blow out my hair (or straighten) since Friday. It's taken a little time to get used to it, but I'm starting to get the hang of a new routine. I even am transitioning my hair to less washing.. even after workouts. This is mentally tough for me, but I did it last night! Yay for healthy hair and skin.

No soap?
You must have missed my skin/face post. I'm using cleansers on my face instead of soap so I don't keep drying it out. Also, I switched to body wash instead of using soap there too and am noticing that I'm less dry all over. Win/win. Don't worry - I'm not stinky.
Oh thanks for asking, he had a bad day yesterday, but he's starting to feel better. He ate dinner last night and started drinking water and playing with his toys. He had a little bit of spring in his step this morning. I've had to give him some immodiums to help block him up a little bit, but eating and drinking is a good sign!
I'm glad to hear that Buddy is starting to feel better!
I re-did my budget yesterday and have now decided that I need to cut cable but still find a way to watch live sports. I'm also considering renting out the spare room, but that's a last resort. I can't imagine having a roommate again after so long.

We don't have cable, but we still get our local channels. I think my brother has his ESPN sportcenter on his phone that he watches live sports too. Maybe try that, or Chromecast?
I dyed my hair last weekend using the same color I've used the lady couple of times but in a different brand. I hate it. It's not really bad, but it's a lot lighter than what I was expecting and my roots are lighter than the rest. I want to re dye it but I don't want to fry it so I'm waiting a couple of weeks. But it's annoying me.

I follow Peter Lord from Aardman animation on twitter, he just had a "Hey the guy in front of me on the train is watching one of my movies--do I say something??" moment. It was beautifully British.
Yeah for buddy feeling better. Doglove, I switched to a oatmeal shea bar soap because my bodywash was drying my skin out. Whatever lets me have less flaky skin is a win for me.
We are back to house hunting. We found a new development that is being built. It is under construction now. It's not exactly the neighborhood I live in now that I love but there just isn't anything here for sale that's new and in my price range. This new development is similar to the house that I put an offer on except its... 100k grand cheaper. I think it's worth looking into. Has anyone bought something that wasn't built yet?

I just sent an email to my landlord (which is really a realty company) about their pet policy.
Back in the day, I had three dogs and 2 of them passed away in 2012, one because of bloat and the other was because of old age...
ANYWAY, I have my eye on this sweet old man named Homer (third from the bottom) and the rescue will call the landlord to verify that it's okay to add another pet, so I figured I needed to ask first. hotlabrescue.org/hotlab/available.jsp
