Hmm, I don't know why folks only post on their favorite boards, people on the other boards are so nice.
I used to be a reg on E08, then PCE but I couldn't keep up after a while. I am not afraid of posting on other boards and rarely do intros but it's nice to have a home board where you hear feedback from other people on more than one topic.
While I voted against the sub-board, I just think it's hysterical that they think that the sub-board is assinine, but a nine page thread whining about a sub-board that has no relevance in their lives is not.
Here's the thing. The sub boards are stupid. I know ya'll dig them and it's nice not to see @@@@@@@ all the time. But makeup? Seriously? YOU ARE DORKS.
You are completely entitled to that opinion.
Those who don't like the subboards can easily ignore them and never use them. It doesn't "harm" you or the community in any way.
There was a poll taken on MM and the wishes of the majority were carried out.
I don't care for the sub boards, which is why I don't read them. I actually liked the make-up talk on MM though, but I understand that some don't.
That said, there have always been some people on the Nest who I don't engage because they'll never shut the hell up, as I think some should do with that CEP post.
As an aside, did anyone see the person on the Food board who called someone out for using the word "hate" to describe food? She said "hate" was too "inflammatory" of a word to use when other people like that food. You would have thought we were talking about babies or something.

I'm not going to lie, I didn't care for the board before that occurred, but once people were praising the tattoo eyebrows, I knew I wasn't going to get any good advice out of them.
I actually get my best advice by directly contacting Ms. Blake
