Once a month I spend a few hours coloring and cutting my hair, waxing my brows, and giving myself a mani and pedi. It saves quite a bit. After the initial expense of buying all the materials, it costs maybe $20/month and keeps me from feeling schlumpy.
I also like to make a nice cup of coffee on Saturday mornings and hit some outdoor markets and consignment/thrift shops. I get satisfaction from shopping, it's a mental thing for me. So wandering around cheap stores is my best bet, chances are I won't find much and what I do find will be cheap. If I wander around an actual big retail store I will want to buy all the things.
I'll give myself a facial or pedi, settle down with tea and a book, cook something leisurely, have a drink at home (I hardly drink, so it really helps me relax when I do) , or take the dogs for a long walk.

Being out in nature, especially hiking, refreshes my soul. Lucky for me, it's a totally free activity. We have a wonderful forest preserve in town where we make a few donations per year, but to use it otherwise is totally free to the public. Lots of awesome trails, great educational programs too if you're interested (we haven't gone to any yet). Going out for a hike and unplugging for awhile really helps recharge my batteries.
I take long walks on the trail near my house. It clears my head and helps me to relax. I have fun money each month. I also make "extra" money with apps/mystery shops. I use this money to spoil myself some months. I am a member of a spa and once a month I go for a massage. I shop clearance and use coupons. I have used Groupons for facials, massages, shopping, and dinners.

I like to go thrift store shopping sometimes when I feel like spending money, but don't really need need anything, I can spend $5-$10 and get a new toy or kitchen gadget or something fun. I get my hair cut at a friends house (so much more fun than a salon, and 1/5 the price), I have friends over and we split a bottle of TJ's wine and have spaghetti for dinner. I go to free museum days, volunteer for rewarding things. My audible subscription is $15 a month. It is way cheaper than the gym and gets me to excersize more and clean more, since I find those things boring, but I enjoy them with a book.
