"Why would you ruin perfectly good peanuts by adding candy corn? That's like saying hey, I have these awesome nachos, guess I better add some dryer lint." - Nonny

This was just posted earlier this month.
Apparently an American company is changing the UK recipe of Cadburry. C'mon, America! Stop ruining chocolate!
"It's no longer Dairy Milk," a Mondelez spokesperson told the Sun. "It's similar, but not exactly Dairy Milk." Translation: We found a way to make it cheaper so forget quality.
There will be no "Cadbury" that is MANUFACTURED by Cadbury. Almost all US Cadbury is currently produced by Hershey. They bought the rights to the name and the american formulas years ago.
If you bought a cadbury product at an import store you may have had a true Cadbury egg, however most US citizens have never had one.
This doesn't make any sense then. Customers who go out of their way to buy the UK-made Cadbury aren't the ones buying Hershey. I would also assume it represents a small portion and isn't a threat to Hershey. Why would they do that? Also, do you work for Hershey?
I do. I was sent by corporate to lurk internet boards and defend the good Hershey name. I'm part of an elite team.
